Is continuing to not believe in the same team I haven't believed in since March a meltdown?Seems more like a cynical meltdown
It's been an extended meltdown. Is continuing to not believe in the same team I haven't believed in since March a meltdown?
I don't play hope chess. If the team is a contender, you'll see me optimistic. If you're not a contender, you're a pretender
Nah, just insinuating it's never going to be locked up with this team. No one should be getting comfortableIt's been an extended meltdown.
And, you were questioning their playoff odds. That's different from stating they're not a contender.
Nola should be a good stopper tonight

What? Who is comfortable?Nah, just insinuating it's never going to be locked up with this team. No one should be getting comfortable
I tried for 3 games. Guess how 2 of those ended
Whoever is comfortable is comfortable. I didn't name any names, didn't call anyone out. I'm just saying stressful times are ahead. What? Who is comfortable?
I think this is what many people miss. Almost every team blows games in dumb ways. I mean, look at that game against the Mets a couple months ago where the Phillies scored 4 runs in the 8th inning with 1 hit. I am very encouraged by Turner and Harper right now though I am concerned with the bullpen currently. They have a month to figure it out. If Seranthony can finally get it together, that would go a long way. I want to see Trea continue hit away from CBP because the splits are drastic.I’m pretty glass half full with the Phillies right now — and optimist I am not. Teams blow games all the time. Phils also had some great comebacks to put themselves in position to blow those leads. Their best hitters are firing (the Turnerssance!), Nola/Wheeler have looked strong of late, and I won’t let a couple bad bullpen games/costly errors make me miss the forest for the trees.
They’re probably the best NL team behind the Braves and Dodgers. I’m going to keep enjoying this after that rancid decade of uncompetitive baseball.
This is a tremendously good pointPhils also had some great comebacks to put themselves in position to blow those leads.
Maybe for injury info? "Will not be returning", etcWhy is there a phone in the Brewers dugout to the Press?
I’m sure it’s common but trying to figure out the purpose.
