On the plus side, shortening up to 3 lines could get Pearson, the leading goal scorer, more then 13 minutes this game.

Although 70s line is so hot, you could still see in previous games that opponents generally focused on Kopitar line. Today whole focus will be on Carter line and we will see how this will work out.

Regarding Pearson, maybe he is not capable to play the same way more than 13 minutes and more minutes would hurt his production?
