Nah, pre-builts still have wacky distributions of dollars even in the 1k and under tiers.

Maybe if you go to a MicroCenter, you might be able to find something comparable. Not off the shelf from the big online retailers. A quick look at Cyberpower for their most popular $999 AMD build has an R5 5500 and a 6500 XT. For that much, you should easily be able to upgrade to a 6800 with 4 times the VRAM and probably bump the CPU up a bit. Plus you can make sure your PSU isn't shit and things of that nature.

The more I look at this game, the more I think if they do win, it's probably a game script that makes me advocate for the entire OL winning the MVP.

I've been digging into it numerically and I cannot believe the degree to which they obliterate opposing IDLs. Per Seth Galina, 6 IDL all year have had a Run Defense grade of 70+ against them. That's in 19 Games! The same number (6) have had grades under 45. That's impossible.
