Considering Murashov is in Wheeling and Nieto is in WB/S, that's kind of impressive. Geographically speaking, Nieto is actually further away from Murashov now than when he was on the NHL roster!

Three D men already signed from the 24 draft already, and I’m sure Vaisanen will get one next year. Not bad at all. Drafting over agers always seems to work out well for us.

Was looking at some of our prospects who’s rights expire at the end of the year.. Chase Yoder , Daniel Laatsch and Cooper Foster… pretty safe bet none of these guys earn an ELC.

Harding & Pietila should bolster RD for WB/S next year. Probably St. Ivany also. Aho is still signed through next year and Pieniniemi incoming too. That’ll probably be the D corps, maybe they re-sign Kral or Renouf to round it out.

Thought this was interesting. They've obviously liked him or awhile:

Penguins director of player development Tom Kostopoulos said at the team's development camp last month in Cranberry, Pa. that they "think there's a lot of potential in Daniel, being the size he is, the intelligence he has defensively, the stick detail he has."

Kostopoulos said that Chris Butler, the former NHL defenseman who works for the Penguins as a development coach, has been saying for years now that Laatsch "has got the best defensive stick in college hockey."

Literally all I know is you can’t teach tall and it seems like Wisconsin fans liked him?

I have hopes that Pickering might produce at a 30point level but if Laatsch makes it then I'm guessing Gill / Scuderi levels of production.
