one thing of note is the game was..while not a lot, only 119...we were able to run on you...we can't run the ball at all..so that was one thing that sorta stood out to me
Did you happen to notice how the Eagles defensive players apparently thought the NFL had changed the rules from "tackle" to "two hand touch"? That sorta stood out to me.

Lurie has never hired a HC with previous NFL HC experience. Always on the offensive side also.

What a world.

Donovan said on radio that he wouldn’t get rid of Sirianni but the guy he’s looking at is Howie because he bought the groceries.
Howie's not above being involved in a house-cleaning too, since he doesn't care to invest in the LB's/DB's, but Sirianni has *got* to go imo. This level of collapse is just a straight-up fireable offense. The whole coaching staff, MINUS Stoutland, needs to go imo.

I think it's worth asking which HC candidates would choose this job early in their hierarchy. You're not getting a big name former HC unless they change Howie's power dynamic. And I don't think you're getting the top tier young first timers like Ben Johnson either. We can argue about whether they have the QB or not, but there are multiple openings with clearly better QB options. And none of those have the rep for the quick trigger or have reset the franchise in a meaningful way.

In a way, I think they could attract a significantly better DC candidate early in the offseason than a HC. They pay well and those guys don't make power requests on the same level.

So fire Howie? Got it

Plenty of good DCs that were former HC. Flores, Wilks, Joseph, Morris, etc. Think most of these guys are not likely to ever get another HC job, not with the lean towards offensive HC due to QB play and needing to develop that position.

Seems like most of the talk on a Defensive HC is either BB or Vrabel or Quinn. After than, it's MacDonald in Baltimore mostly.

Yeah, all of those guys would work as DCs for me. Zimmer’s out there too. I’d rather have Leonhard or maybe someone like Minter is ready to jump if/when Moore gets the promotion. But they’re all reasonable choices. Same goes for Bowles if they can him.

Hell, they interviewed Glenn Schumann last year. Everyone knows Kirby told him not to leave for a lateral position, but you never know when guys want to jump up a level.
