First stab at the 2024 mock. Lots of trading didn't love the guys at the back end of the first.

It has to be a joke, no? That's around 40 screens per game.
Idk but I have seen it several different places. It definitely FEELS real. haha

Yea trading out of 22 gets some assets back, but it seems like the best players are off the board in the late 1st.

If I had ANY confidence in our ability to do anything with day 3 picks, I'd be down with tradedowns.

Philly needs starters or at the very least rotational players.

RG - as Jurgens slides to C to take over for Kelce
WR3 - need someone else better that Watkins who was a day 3 pick himself.
TE2 - Depth after Dallas
RB - think both gainwell and swift are free agents
CB - need help there
S - need help
LB - need help
DE - need someone else

Not all issues fixed at the draft. But, you do want to come away with 3 guys who are going to contribute on 1/3 or more of their side of the ball plays in 2024.

They are getting 3 comp picks at least, plus have the Saints #2 pick. Less what they gave up in prior trades like Byard. Should have more than the allotted 7 that most teams have.
Need some serious contributors vs the let them sit and wait that they did in the prior couple of drafts, even with their higher picks. Kind of need the help now.

Lol God it keeps getting worse. It's open season on the coaches right now on social media from football experts and former players, and have to admit, it's eye opening to watch.

Zero sympathy from me. The epicness of this collapse is hard to put into words.

Yes, they weren't nearly as good as their 10-1 record. Yes, their way of winning was not sustainable. But damn, they completely forgot how to football over these last few weeks. Looked like a bottom 5 team (and got blown out by some actual bottom 5 teams). Inexcusable.

It's now after 5pm EST.

Honestly...I really thought he and the whole coaching staff would be fired. Obviously they still can be, but the longer we hear nothing, the more it seems likely that he'll be back next season. And if they are planning to fire him, they need to do it soon so they're not completely out of the loop on any candidate(s) they may want to interview for the job.

FWIW Nick is getting some serious endorsement by some of the vets out the door...

So with this said, is the answer to keep Nick (which, there's still a good shot he's staying), but completely replace the two coordinators? Back up brinks' trucks to get some guys to call plays on both ends?

Like if you end up with a coaching staff of Sirianni (HC), Bienemy/Dorsey (OC), and Martendale (DC) - are you much more confident without the need to fire Nick?

It took them like 2 weeks to fire Doug.

If you’re going to do it, do it. Don’t set yourself up to be behind the 8-Ball
They still have about a week here to make a call. Same with Dallas. Everyone knows the situation. If there are people who will be very interested those jobs, the agents won’t let them make decisions without all the information.

I’d imagine in the mess that was the late season Eagles you’d want to get things sorted out and hear all perspectives. It’s hard to even know where to point the finger because everything ways a mess

Love that he said that to McLane.

I just can't understand how people can get to the highest level in the sport and seemingly not know anything about the game.

It's like that guy who was hired to be a sign language interpreter and just went up on stage and made a bunch of shit up. How could they not think they were going to be exposed?

I almost wonder if there was some factional strife or something in the locker room that turned cancerous. The coaching was terrible all year but they were still winning games for the first 2/3 of the year. Some individual efforts were embarrassing down the stretch.
