Crazy “heckling” experience: I was at a Phantoms game as a young kind in the late 90’s, sitting behind the penalty box. A man and his ~8 year old son show up late to the game a row in front of us. The man proceeded to “heckle” a black player on the other team. He was making monkey sounds, monkey gestures and all types of crazy shit. The black player gets in a fight and goes to the penalty box. The man pulls out a banana. Why he had it and where it came from, idk. He throws and hits the player with it. The player is unfazed and nonchalant, barely took notice of it even though it hit him and he looked down at it. His composure was strong and he shrugged it off. Didn’t look back or nothing. I forget if the man was ejected or left on his own but this whole thing took place in a span of 5-10 minutes. It was so surreal. Did the guy plan the banana? Why have a banana at a phantoms game? Was the player sleeping with the “heckler’s” wife or something? It seemed like the man came solely to go after the player. Why didn’t the player care? He was a tough guy and had just gotten into a fight with a Phantoms goon and did well. What was his kid thinking during all this? So so so many questions. I don’t think anyone in the stands reacted either. Maybe they were so surprised. Maybe I’m the only one who saw. It was so bizarre and offensive. I should try and figure out who the player was
You really can't understand the banana thing bud?

Just go here and he has most of the calls. Merrill, Rickie Ricardo in Spanish, and the Bills.
I don't have a Twitter so I'm unable to just go here unless it's embedded somewhere

Of the nine (9) positions on my fantasy team, every single one of their NFL teams lost except the two Eagles slots, which, of course, went to OT - and one of them was the D/ST, which scored -2.0.

Won by 40.

Maybe Tepper isn't a good owner.

Knew this was going to happen as soon as I saw Bryce Young throw that screen yesterday on 4th & 6 in a possible win situation.

Now, it sounds like Bryce played a role in that, but that just means Reich failed on another level.

Bring in Frank Reich in the Fangio offensive assistant role. He can keep BJ in check.

We will win the SB.

Sam Monson is one of my favorite analysts because in situations like this, he asks the right questions instead of piling on.

What does it look like if you just switch Young and Stroud? I don't have an answer, but I'm positive Stroud isn't succeeding to the same degree.

I don’t necessarily think it’s just that easy either.

I think Frank’s blocking schemes suck. But I also think Stroud is better at this stage than Young. But I don’t know that any QB would be getting much out of this team at the moment.

Best heckling I ever experienced was also at a Phantoms game. It was the lockout season and the Phantoms were in the playoffs and playing their games at the Wells Fargo Center. I was a senior in high school so school wasn't really important at that time, and we could get tickets for like $10, so me and my buddies ended up going to a lot of the games. There weren't many people at these games so we'd buy tickets and just sit wherever we wanted. The Phantoms were playing the Norfolk Admirals and we sat about 5-10 rows behind the Admirals bench. Some guy started heckling the shit out of Anton Babchuck. "Hey Babchuck, you suck!" "Who sucks worse than Babchuck? No one!" He just kept going. Eventually, Babchuck turns around and throws a water bottle into the stands at the guy and has to be held back by the trainer. This was while the game was taking place. It was something

Maybe Tepper isn't a good owner.

He very much is a bad owner. Probably the worst in all of the major professional sports right now. He's been an NFL owner for 4 seasons and has fired 3 coaches. The decision to move up to 1st in the draft was his, as evidenced by the fact the fact the team was internally debating who they were going to draft right up to the draft itself, which, if you're going to trade up to #1, you better as hell know who you're going to draft. He also pulled the plug on a $2billion practice facility in South Carolina because he couldn't get the local government to pay more money to fund construction in mid-flight, with it now looking abandoned like this:

The guy is a meddlesome snake who deserves all the criticism and ridicule that he is going to get in the coming years. The Panthers are very much the worst run team in sports, and its not going to change anytime soon. And it sucks for me, because they're the one team I'm forced to watch every weekend, and there is absolutely no hope of watching an entertaining product going forward without paying out my ass for Sunday Ticket.

Before the game yesterday the Eagles were actually favored by a -1 to -1.5 depending on where you looked. i guess the uncertainly of Lane and how bad they looked in the 1st half changed that.
