Ok I keep seeing posts about Fields and the Eagles...this just BS right nothing actually going on? Seems like a lot of chatter about it though.

For sure. But at least it’s less risky when the guy you draft actually played Linebacker instead of, oh I don’t know, only Overhang becaus he can’t read the flow of play in the PAC 12.
Is this a Davion Taylor reference? I don't mind taking shots like that in the 3rd when they have athletic talent, vs like TeoNeisham and Barnett who had no ceiling.

That said, I'm down for Cooper and Trevin Wallace this year. The hype/mocks with the eagles and the NC State guy is scaring me though.

So what’s the rules here for tampering? Wouldn’t it be pretty easy to pick apart Franklin’s comments on technicalities.
You can't have direct contact with the player, only his agent. Seems like it would be pretty easy to prove/disprove. I highly doubt Howie was dumb enough to contact Saquon directly. This all came about from James Franklin running his mouth in a presser...

I was going to say "well it's always possible that the Agent had his call on Speaker and Saquon was there..." but that's honestly like straight out of Draft Day and pretty dumb.

Odds are Howie broke the rule just like every f***ing GM does, and this time his hand gets caught in the cookie jar because of Franklin.

There's pretty much 4 rules:

1.) We (the league) know that you're ALL (the teams) breaking the rules.
2.) Don't get caught.
3.) Don't leave a paper trail.
4.) Don't run your mouth about it.

Just don't do stupid stuff like 2.) to 4.)

It's actually pretty simple to follow...

Sure was. I'm normally on board with that, but in Taylor's case, he had no idea how to play football. Even the limited experience he did have was in no way translatable to what the NFL would ask him to do. For me, he was on the Joe Milton level of flat out not being a functional player.

I very much do not want Wilson either. Good luck projecting a true Stack LB to the NFL. It may work, but I'd rather someone else took the risk.
