I'm getting flashbacks to my best bud telling me he used to print out like 100 pages plus in one sitting for law school. Literally killing a forest.
Is this the dinner flaking bud?

It's not anyone in this thread doing this. I get what the discussion above is and isn't about.

But is it just me that finds it weird we're equating choking and punching your pregnant girlfriend in the stomach and drag racing? I know I will never want Tyreek Hill on my team. Ever.
A friend of mine was hit head on at 90+ mph by someone street racing. She miraculously survived. The racer did not

Yeah they aren't even the same neighborhood to me. Carter messed up, but he was a side-character in that whole thing. Ty Hill is the villain of his story.
For my sake, I read an ESPN article a while ago that led on he was behind the wheel racing. Do I have this wrong?

Nowhere in there did I say it was a good decision. It was exceedingly dumb. If he's not contrite, that's a problem.

I just don't like invoking Hill as the barometer for everything. He set out to hurt his pregnant girlfriend. Plus we have the benefit of knowing he's still at the very least threatening violence in 2019. That's a different level of me not ever being able to get enjoyment from him making a football play.

That's fair, an unequivocal villain shouldn't be the barometer. An outlier is not a barometer. It's Ray Lewis all over again.

This being said, the last few weeks I'm realizing I'll have a harder time getting past Carter's transgressions because of how close to home they hit. That's just the nature of these things sometimes

Yes - he was involved in racing (which is absurdly stupid). I suppose I have an easier time coming to terms with Carter being a dumb famous kid than I do Ty Hill who really tried to hurt people. It's all relative I guess.

I can understand you not getting back Carter's issues. For sure. Lots of people certainly weren't over Vick even after he was done playing here. All not-great stuff.

Shit...didn't even think of this impacting Atlanta's 1st pick.

Now I wonder how this potentially shakes up the Top-10 and who will be there for Philly at 10

When I do them, what I’m looking to see is mostly what boards can look like in rough areas. It’s a much more fun way of thinking situationally than jotting down listicles of the 6 guys I would take at 10.

You can also visualize how you build the draft class. It’s one thing to have mid-round targets, but it’s another to repeatedly have similar, but slightly different boards at 62 and get to play out the draft at various approaches from there. In how many of these scenarios can I grab an IDL I like? We know they’re not going to draft 3, so building entire classes makes me think differently about earlier picks that I may have super close. I would never drop down a tier, but if I had a Corner and a WR with similar top 5 grades available at 10, I do want to know how likely it is that I can fill the spot I don’t take later. That’s more useful to my personal thinking than spending 2 hours deciding between 2 guys I love. Loving them is enough for me. I’m not making the pick.

I also limit myself to one trade down in the top 100 or it gets silly quickly. And I don’t take obvious won’t happen situations like Will Anderson being available at 10. It’s polluting my thinking to even entertain that.
With all pc games or draft simulator and such things for me it comes down to limiting yourself to mostly realistic actions! You can own every KI if you know how or use exploits and such. Its destroys the fun of the game. So limit yourself to one trade is a must in my eyes if you do a mock draft. Love your approach. Thx for the inside view ;D

I paid four payments of $73.49+tax last year (~$300).

The blackout stuff does still exist.
If they would get rid of all the damn blackout stuff I would cancel my YT TV subscription and just sign up for the NFL, MLB, and NHL packages by themselves. But it doesn't matter because if they get rid of the blackout stuff then they'll just jack the price up and it won't be worth it any way. The only way to win is to get illegal streams. Even the alternatives to Comcast/Verizon/DirecTV cable packages are now basically the same price as it is to just have Comcast/Verizon/DIrecTV. Everything is a scam!

I made a one time payment of $30 for an antenna. Great for the NFL season to watch the Fox, CBS, and NBC games. Between the Eagles and Phillies run last year it pretty much paid for itself 10 fold.

Simms has been pretty bullish on Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Do you have any feelings?

It all depends on where he's being drafted. He's improved quite a bit over the years. He's got the kind of high end physical talent I want in a developmental QB. But so many of his yards are YAC and it's overwhelmingly created by scheme.

I started out the draft cycle wanting him badly. Now I can't help but think he's going to go too high for my tastes. So my opinion hasn't changed, but I think the way things have unfolded make it less likely he ends up a target at any point I'd be on a draft board.
