Slay is staying. I’m probably not going to like these numbers.

Cox will probably fill the 3rd DT role with Davis and Williams starting, and a rookie DT sitting the pine for the first half of the season as he learns the ropes. Cut his snaps back 10 a game and he can probably continue to be effective.

New DC, but neither of those two was anywhere close to Cox in Snaps% last year. Like not in the same area code.

This feels like the post Super Bowl win time where he's trying to run it back on top of the dwindling window to get it done with a rookie QB contract. Mayhaps this leads to not so nice things.

Edit Missus Slay tweeted that they're staying.

Seems like Howie stll has trouble letting his vets go at the right time.

Oh well. Seems like the Eagles will keep pushing dead money in the future over the next few years.

Maybe Jalen does us a solid and comes in cheaper than expected. Otherwise these signings will probably catch up to us soon and cost us a year or two of contention. CJGJ is probably gone after this even though its strange that he is still out there.

Yeah, I still see them going D line at 10. I also think they trade 30 for a 2nd in the 37-45 range and a 4th. I can then see them taking a CB with the new 2nd.

While I like Slay, I really don't understand the thought process behind bringing him back. Especially if his underlying advanced stats showed him having a rough 2nd half of the season.

The guy makes too much money and very well could already be over the cliff at this point.
