I need to stop looking at some of these mocks.
Can’t remember the last guy they franchised.
Howie has been talking about comp picks for next year’s draft so be prepared for a lot of guys to walk. CJGJ is a bit of a loose cannon too so there’s that also.
Jojo can you build a conference winning defense in an offseason? I mean I guess they kind of just did it? I'm nervousI think they're basically all walking. All he's talked about is learning about not letting sentiment get in the way and comp picks.
I used to think Graham was staying. Then I looked at the EDGEs in free agency. Someone like Cleveland is giving that man a deal they can't match.

I mean they sucked hard in the Superbowl anyways. This defense is going to be barren next season I fear. It was a fun season anyway
The NFC is so terrible that I don't like the idea of a reloading year though and potentially them just throwing the year away.Their cap management is fantastic, as we all know. But this year is the one where they really can't shift that much money around. It feels like a reloading year to me. And it would make sense. They need to reassemble around not having a rookie scale QB.

Mock drafts have always been - and will always be - mind-numbingly dumb, to me. React to whomever is actually selected, sure, but to get twisted up about what some jabroni thinks is going to happen in something as wildly unpredictable as a draft? Pass.

I get it. But it’s just very disheartening seeing the panthers take Richardson or trade up and waste picks for Levis or Richardson even earlier.
I get what you mean for sure. But I don't think they have the money to be a neutral field favorite over SF or Dallas right now. I'm probably in the minority in the fanbase there, and fair enough. No one is right or wrong.
There are seasonal outcomes that have them as not a favorite over the Lions either.
What do you think of Josh Allen and his development? This isn't a gotcha attempt. This is me trying to understand what you personally prioritize since your team is obviously getting a QB somehow.
First off I’d say, id rather trade for a QB or use a stop gap than draft any of the top names of this draft. But if they are dead set on drafting a QB, I prefer Stroud or Young over the rest. It seems like Levis is going to need a year or so. And I just see Richardson in the ilk of a runner.
Secondly re: Allen, it doesn’t happen always like that. I can’t imagine anyone expected him to be where he is currently to what he was then. I also don’t trust the Panthers to develop someone.
moves like this from management are exactly why i stopped being a fan ages ago..i mean i get the reasoning behind it..but back then it was a bit worse because they were letting fan favorites and guys who could still play really well..just walk
did they drop him? good..dude's been ass for a few years now lolWas this before or after the Donovan Smith news broke?
He's not good. I'm just watching Tampa heading straight for the top of the mocks next year. They'll be fun with whichever one of those guys they get.

I definitely understand not trusting the Panthers to develop someone.
Allen was clearly put into an ideal situation with excellent coaching and will probably always be a roller coaster. Then again, so is basically everyone not named Mahomes to various degrees. The big interesting question on the QBs to me is who are the guys without exceptional physical traits that turned into someone you're dying to give 50+. If the only path to that is Joe Burrow levels of prospect, I'd rather take a big swing at the position. It's also not my job on the line.
I don't know if this helps in regard to Richardson, but I think his floor is being wildly undersold. Super high-end rushing ability in QBs raises their floor even more than their ceiling.
Atlanta I think I saw.Ok, this is probably letting someone else negotiate for them, but who makes sense?
Carolina has to be named in every QB discussion. Washington should be. Atlanta. Detroit. New England would be hilarious? The Raiders?
If you're Howie and you're going to sign Hurts, you probably have to be willing to pay a little more to get him in before this gets finished.

Pipe dream for Carolina.
