Feels like Zeke may not be back with them. Isn't this the first season they can get out of his contract with little-to-no financial penalty?

A Pre 6/1 Cut would be 11.86 in dead money and 4.86 in savings.

After 6/1, it would be 5.82 in dead space for a savings of 10.9. And then dead space of 4.32 the following year.

So it's still a solid hit to take, but it is doable.

Hopefully one less Bijan spot.

Do you think he makes it to 30?

My gut tells me no. Someone is gonna pull the trigger because they think he's that good. Not that I disagree with that sentiment. I'm just hoping every team is on the positional value bandwagon and they all don't take an RB because of the plethora of RBs on Day 2 and 3 that could be starters. It's weird. Probably the deepest RB class in a while but it has the best RB prospect in a couple years. A little bit of a double edge sword for my lad Bijan.

I hope Howie trades down from 10 and takes him in the mid to late 1st. My initial read on landing spots probably starts at 18 with Detroit. But they have Swift. Unless management is now out on him being the guy. Thank goodness Miami FAFO'd, they probably would take him. Maybe the Chargers trying to find that successor to my fantasy ride or die Ekeler. Otherwise it kind of gets dicey for my Bijan hopes when the Giants, Dallas, Buffalo, Cincy and the Saints are all up on the clock. They all have clear needs at other positions but I mean Bijan is a top tier talent in this draft. At what point do you say screw the positional value and let's take the best player.

I would have traded Fields. See, I'm consistent at least.

But this is good for the Eagles. Unless Houston pays up, this basically guarantees QBs at 1 and 2. If Indy doesn't move up, at 4 too. And quite easily could mean all QBs through 4.

If Carolina doesn't come up to 1 or 3 at some point, I'll be shocked.

I would also eagerly trade Fields because he went to Ohio State.

In fact if I were a GM and I drafted him, I think that would probably serve as a cautionary tale of drafting while blackout drunk.

Bijan at 14 after trading with The Dark Lord.
Darnell Wright at 30 is intriguing.

I am very much on board with Wright if they think they need a Tackle. Other interesting things to me:

Witherspoon falls to 16.
The Bears pull off the rare double trade down.

Not surprised the Colts go up for Stroud here. It feels like Stroud and Levis are much more their style than Young or Richardson.

Can’t remember the last guy they franchised.

Howie has been talking about comp picks for next year’s draft so be prepared for a lot of guys to walk. CJGJ is a bit of a loose cannon too so there’s that also.
