@JojoTheWhale

You have to read the quote tweet thread a bit, but basically it sounds like Slay is not happy.

Darius seems to be delusional after the loss. His comments on his podcast are :laugh:. Claiming they shutdown Mahomes. I think he is living in an alternate reality. I think it was Derrick Gunn that floated the idea he wouldnt be surprised if they traded him and kept Bradberry.

If they really bring Patricia in, then I fully expect Slay to be gone

He has been delusional all year and has refused to take accountability at multiple points too.

Epps should give Deuce Vaughn #22. It's too perfect. Not only the name and the team history with Staley, but he did the most ridiculous Duce Staley drill I've ever seen.

Yes, I'm trying to will this into existence.

*Edit* I guess I have to find Tulsa tape now since Deneric Prince put up numbers that make him worth a look.

Really not sure I'm a fan of Patricia coming aboard in any position. Not just because of his differences w/ Slay in the past (because I expect Slay won't be here much longer), but just because I question how good a coach he actually is.

@JojoTheWhale can I still will my dream into existence? Prolly GM speak but mannnnnnn

I would have traded Fields. See, I'm consistent at least.

But this is good for the Eagles. Unless Houston pays up, this basically guarantees QBs at 1 and 2. If Indy doesn't move up, at 4 too. And quite easily could mean all QBs through 4.

If Carolina doesn't come up to 1 or 3 at some point, I'll be shocked.

I doubt Carolina pulls the trigger, but I’m also super pessimistic. But that’s another story. Haha.

I’ll be pleasantly shocked if they do it.

I'm not sure it really impacts the Eagles that much since they're at 10, so unless the Bears trade with someone outside the top-10 (which I doubt will happen), I think the same 9 players will likely be drafted before the Eagles pick at #10 whether the Bears are drafting at #1 or #4 or #7 or #9.

I was just thinking about this in relation to whether or not I can get to 6 non-QBs I would be thrilled taking at 10. I'm ignoring the Carter off the field stuff for now because I have no way to have a meaningful opinion.

Carter, Anderson, Gonzalez, Witherspoon, Smith, and Johnston gets me there. Then there are the OTs. We lack all of the info to know if that's possible. Looking good!

You're of course correct. But it does depend on who moves up. Some of these teams will not like some of these QBs.

I'm very much #TeamTradeDown but there's a point where you just have to stare an excellent talent in the face & do the obvious thing, especially at a position of need.

I'd be completely fine taking Gonzalez at 10 then trading out of the 1st round. That's a W every day of the week.

Wow, I wonder what they'll get and from whom. I am not super high on any of the QBs and haven't really been paying attention to combine or draft stock because they aren't really an option for the Eagles until maybe the later rounds if they wanna grab a guy. Who would be the target at 1? Stroud? Young? I know Levis was high up there going into the season.

Any of the QBs. Personally I think Young is the clear QB1 for the class. However, I could see a team trading up to get "their guy". So one of Young, Stroud, Levis or Richardson.

Dallas tagged Pollard. He's great and all, but the amount of money they have tied up in RBs right now is astonishing. They're at 27+ MM. Next highest is ~19.
Feels like Zeke may not be back with them. Isn't this the first season they can get out of his contract with little-to-no financial penalty?
