Could end up being win-win-win. Patrick doesn't go to Seattle, Cody gets to try again and Philly adds some D skills!

Vegas has traded all 3 of their 2017 first round draft picks now. Glass, Suzuki and Brannstrom all gone.I can’t believe Vegas gave up on Cody “best player outside of the NHL” Glass so quickly

The same guy who traded forsberg for erat now trades suzuki and glass. You can’t make this stuff up, he really hates top prospects
My mistake but to be fair he is still presidentMcPhee isn't the gm anymore. McCrimmon is.
Mcphee traded Suzuki, McCrimmon traded Glass.
Ryan Ellis effectively was traded for Nolan Patrick and Phillippe MeyersI can't believe Ryan Ellis went this cheap, no 1st round pick, no, top prospect from Philadelphia, yes they got Cody Glass but that was from Vegas for Patrick, Ryan Ellis himself didn't get any high picks or prospects, Ryan Ellis himself went incredibly cheap

Knew this would be the hf boards stance. #noclueFlyers took the Preds out back behind the shed....
Yeah Philly getting a stud d man. For two plugs. What a loss.Or a lose-lose-lose.
I think Nashville did amazing. Flyers imo did not do that well. Myers had a tough year but he’s still really good and Ellis has a bad contract.
Lol only on hf would someone come up with a narrative like this. Tell me you've never played hockey without telling me you've never played hockey.People are just making shit up about Glass, so I'll fill you guys in. Injuries, roster decisions and cap issues have equally derailed his development. I also suspect offseason training advise(bulking up his slender frame) slowed him down considerably.
His 'compete level' and confidence were almost non-existent, and he's even seen a sports psychologist. When he finally got a chance to center the 3rd & 1st line, he didn't mesh with anyone and his playmaking ability was never utilized on the PP. Glass lost every puck battle, handled the puck like a grenade and was always a split second behind on every play.
I don't know if he could ever get his skating back to what would be considered average, but he's too talented a playmaker to not become a PP specialist. His iq, defensive awareness & vision are all great, but it's marred by his glacier-like skating & laziness.
His effort level even in the AHL at the end of the season was fading. Glass loves to check out by the 3rd period & go home early.
