Don't worry guys, Vinny is going to come crashing back down to earth soon. Flyers fans are bitter as ****.
 
Flyers fans don't realize how bad their organization is. We are two time champs in the past few years, our entire coaching staff and trainers are better than what the Flyers have. Players who come here succeed, look at how many players we have traded for that have contributed to our cups.

I think that is going to change in Philly, at least somewhat. Hexy is going to make some positive changes.
 
this trade has really shown what players can do with a simple change of scenery and a fresh start. its pretty amazing

Hex has started making strides. Holmgren constantly over spent than bought out than traded top picks than over spent than bought over and over.
Since hextall has come in he has said they are going to rebuild thorugh the draft and let the bad contract run their course (or get to a more manageable place to buy out). Their prospect pool has some great D prospects. Ghost (if he is still a prospect), morin, sanheim, provorov and Hagg.
Hextall has preached time which is not an easy thing to preach in Philadelphia but it seems that fans are ok with it. he has a strategy and so far I like it.
 
Hexy is definitely doing a better job than Holmgreen ever did. Not to mention he's probably picked up a few trade secrets from Lombardi from his time here.

I don't know, i think most of their fans are happy for Vinny. He was just not working out for them and was taking up cap space.

Much like Brown/Gaborik here (although not to that extent). Both their games could take off on a team with a different style and be incredibly helpful for said team come playoff time.
 
That's not what the mainboarders think.

And I agree that Hextall is a better GM than Holmgren, Hexy will do good things in Philly. But just to read all than bull **** on the trade thread pisses me off. They don't realize we aren't the Flyers.

Just wait until we lose a couple of games, there will be plenty of people here blaming Sutter, DL, Lecavalier, Schenn, Brown, etc.... oh and of course the refs.
 
Honestly, we need to do more to help Hextall out in Philly.

Voracek and his 5 pathetic goals... we should take him off their hands and send back a cup champion, a leader, a guy with class and character. Dustin Brown, please pack your bags

Why would the Kings trade Brown for a bigger/longer contract for 1 more goal?

Can't be digging the hole deeper trying to get out of the Brown contract. :laugh:

Edit: Brown's having a **** year, but it's hilarious that guys like Voracek/Getzlaf are right there with him, but have higher cap hits.

Just 1 year? it's his 2nd consecutive year where he'll have less than 30 points and than 10 goals. He's been awful for a few years now. Getzlaf and Voracek probably turn it around, Brown will be gone soon in the off-season or captaining Las Vegas the off-season after. Even when he puts in maximum effort and you can tell he is playing as hard as he possibly can, he still doesn't belong in the top 6, barely belongs on the 3rd line if even that. He is what he is now and that won't be changing, he's just basically making 5.85M for what some local people in the media say he does off the ice, I call BS. He has been removed as much as possible from the LAKings website and nobody ever mentions him as the "core" anymore, I'm pretty sure if DL could ditch him for a pick and not retain, he'd do it today but that probably isn't realistic at this point.
