How is log jam defined here? Is it number of bodies with a pulse or bodies than can actually play good hockey

I like how it's 'rushing' the 20 year olds, yet they're better than the slip playing ahead of them. I'm sure Foerster, Lyksell and York can fill in admirably for Brown, Deslauriers, MacEwan, Seeler, etc....and not look out of place and probably finish. Can't have that though. Young players need to 'earn' their stripes and go through the 'rigors' of the AHL. Coach Laperriere can guide them on how to check while negating the skill they have. It's the 'Flyers' development method!!!

Fletcher can't sign Anisimov because he loaded up on AHL talent like these guys. That should get him the GM of the year award - Gormless Moron 2022.

Watched the sequence over. Looked like it hit center mass and trickled down through his legs.

This was actually his 3rd one-timer of the 20 second PP sequence (although one may have been a slap pass, but he fanned on the first one so I can't say for sure).

He did have a nice net front drive on the ES shift before though.

Tuomaala now 6g 7-2 9 in Mestis. Maybe the light has finally turned on for him?
At 19, in his D+2, it's the right level for him, above the CHL, a step below Liiga.
If he can keep it up, he should play in Liiga next season.

I've seen a couple of games. He is probably better than the 919 because, while they have a 500 record, they are still a shit show when it comes to structure and possession

A team best 14 points in 19 games for a poorly coached bottom 10 offense team is pretty good. Because of the pandemic, it’s easy to forget he’s rookie age. Besides Lycksell, who is 23 and shouldn’t be there, he’s their best forward. That’s all you want to see really to know someone is tracking as an impact player. Especially for a guy with mediocre wheels who can’t raw tools (phrasing) himself along.
