The Caps suck, but so do the Hawks. So a step in the right direction, I guess.

The biggest difference was we made the Caps look slow, beyond the fact that they kinda are. The Hawks, well, they're pretty quick.

We saw a glimpse of what EK can bring to this team. The guy does so many subtle things that lead to offense. He should have gotten a couple more points tonight and I can’t wait for his first goal.

G was awesome and it was really nice to see smith rewarded with the chances he’s gotten these first two games.

Obviously a huge game from Malkin and Crosby. Malkin looked like he figured out time travel for at least one night. EK and Jarry great, too. Thought Eller has continued to be solid. Also really liked Nieto and Acciari. Penalty kill was very stingy. All in all really picked it up after a bleh first period.

The Caps definitely look like a team that has totally sold out to try to feed one guy's record/ego. I mean I guess I kinda get it but yikes. Wilson is a total joke.
