So Billy what did YOU SEE !

Love the Stuart Smalley reference....;)

Yes, the Heidi was all that and a bag of chips.

Compared to Dan-o my dog is all that and a bag of chips and could do a better job on tv too. Just strap a mic and a camera to her (one of my dogs anyways) and let the players say whatever they want. Could be fun!

I don't really care who is in net, I am a Kings fan first, not a player fan.

Doesn't matter anyway, Quick or Johnny B can get the job done.

It's my job to cheer whoever is in net, And Sutter picks that guy, not me.

She wasn't a great interviewer maybe but I've definitely seen worse, and not just Moriarty. At least she came across as intelligent and, as you said, she tried even if she wasn't exactly a great hockey mind. More importantly, she had a likeable personality.

Also, smokin' hot ;)

(Come back Heidi :()

I agree.

A friend of mine said "you know, that girl doing the interview has an affable personality and looks like she is really trying to have fun with it".

I think that sums Heidi up as an interviewer for hockey. He left out the fact that he is easy on the eyes but that only made his observation more respectable. The fact that she was pretty is a given.

Bernier now listed on NHL.com as 2nd leading goalie in GAA behind Craig Anderson, and Carter 3rd in goals :D

It's been coming the last few games but Williams is now back close to his statistical shooting percentage. We now only have one guy that's really snake bit in Doughty, and I'm torn over wanting it to continue til playoff time.
Then have him break out. But he's shooting 1.2%.

Mmm, Yeo's quotes are kinda lame, whining about the team being tired and beat up. He might not be wrong, but suck it up; sort of the wrong time to feel sorry for yourself.

The tandem of Quick and Bernier is the opposite of what we were expecting from the tandem of Fiset and Storr. It's nice to have two goalies who can get you wins on any given night. Sure, Quick has been off a bit this season, but I'd say it's the first time in a long time we've seen this from him.

Either way, I'm very glad that Lombardi didn't move Bernier. Hope that Bernier also has a change of heart and decides to stick around longer on the premise that he's given more starts, which he has earned.

i hope we get minnesota in the first round, they are so bad.

i'll hold judgement on RR as he wasn't really tested, he is however as advertised pretty slow.

Logic says keep going with Bernier, but you have to wonder if they go back to Quick on Saturday. Tough call, only because I think for Quick to get back to his game, he needs a heavy workload. But given how Bernier has been rock solid in his starts, how can you not give him the next start?

Play the better goalie. and that's Bernier right now.

I liked what I saw out of Regehr. Moves slowly but he did make a few great outlet passes and did what I expected: stayed positionally sound, parked in front, and pushed guys out of the crease. That's what we needed, and that's what we got.

I don't think he was ever required to hustle today. He looked very good and timely so I don't know.

Just because no victory is complete with my favorite Cryin' Ryan picture:

Bernier's playing damn good, hope it keeps up. We have a great schedule coming down the stretch, with only the two games against the Ducks being against teams that are ahead of us in the standings, and five of the 11 are against teams that aren't in the playoffs right now.

If we can win both games against Anaheim, we still have a shot at the division. If we split them (or lose both) fourth is the best we can do. But I'm ok with that, considering how we are playing.

Also, I have a feeling TG was trying to make a point in this thread. Wonder what it was... :sarcasm:

That's just boilerplate "we're better than we showed" coach talk. Nine-tenths of the job is motivating the guys.

That is the problem with most Kings fans… they can’t really evaluate the game in front of them when they got their favorite players panties wrapped around their head.

Right now, Bernier is getting the job done, Quick is struggling. Why would it be bad if Bernier does exactly what Quick did for the Kings last year and help us win the Cup. Winning the Cup is the goal right? I don’t care about Quick’s feelings, suck it up and play better and you’ll be the guy. Goalies are up and down season to season. Play the hot hand. Quick will get his chance, if not, who cares? There is not many games left, get Bernier in there and let’s see if he can keep it going, if so, play him in the playoffs. Quick needs to continue working hard in practice and regain his focus, and when he gets the call he has to be better.
