It's a back to back so both guys are gonna play. Doesn't matter to me who gets which game.

Me neither but it is a tough call for a coach. Goalies are typically sort of emotional types in my experience and with JQ being our starting goalie if you don't go with him you could be sending a message. Not saying DS should or shouldn't go with JB or JQ, just saying that if he choses JB that JQ could get a little weird.

Maybe not, happy that I no longer coach hockey.
 
Great game overall. Really loving the RR and his play. I vote JB gets the start Saturday, then quick against the sucks.

But what did YOU guys see out there!?

I agree.

Goalies should toughen up, we shouldn't be scared to start Bernier again just because quick might get sad. Its a team game and Bernier's getting us points right now.
 
Keep rolling with Bernier. Quick clearly isn't at the top of his game and it's not his fault. He just needs some time. Unfortunately it's a short season and every win is so important. The only way it causes Lombardi or Sutter to stress about who the #1 going forward is would be for Bernier to have a playoff run like Quick did last year and carry us to a 2nd straight cup. If that happens so be it cuz we're back to back champs!
 
There were a few times during the game when Wild players definitely avoided RR44. Love having a presence like that out on the ice again.
 
I bet the interview ends with Dan just placing his hand on Brad's chest for fifteen seconds while never breaking eye contact. He then whispers, "How does it feel inside???"

Should roll with whoever is winning games.

Contracts, hurt feelings etc. should be out the window during this playoff push.

Not when it could cost you the best out of one or both of your goalies.

Besides, its easy to be cavalier here, not so much so for DS.

That said both of these guys may just be perfectly fine with rotating, just making a point.
 
Its games like this that show you how much of a difference a stay at home vet can really make. Really good.
