I have. To both. The ice wasn’t very smooth.
Disappointing, it seems like a great solution to my biggest two nemeses: wind ripples and snow. My ultimate goal would be a phonebooth* so large it covers the entire ice surface, but I guess that'd ruin the hockeyism.

*maybe a normal sized one that's just bigger on the inside?

No.

Is Krebs a center or winger? If he is a center then get him to where he plays center in the AHL before calling him up.

Its like these guys don’t even pay attention to what’s going on in Rochester. Krebs has been playing well but its been on the wing not at center. Bringing him up to replace Mitts at center make doesn’t sense for that reason.

This kid is a pure playmaker and a big part of the Sabres future. If we look out a few years, what “triggers” do we have to put with him assuming he plays Centre. Which players might be a fit?

He doesn’t necessarily have to play center to fulfill that role. He might be great on the wing with Tage/Olofsson for example

The most obvious is Quinn, but Cozens can finish as can Thompson and Olofsson. Further down the line, someone like Rosen who has a quality shot and gets into position well would be another.

by like a month isn't it ?

He was drafted in 2019 so 19-20 and 20-21 WJC WJCs arr the only once’s a 2019 coukd play in. Those with late yr bday can only do one.

only ones are those in 2020 and 2021 drafts as 18 yr olds coukd play or those not yet old enough.

Quinn has late bday so he’s ineligible.

Do you feel they have already decided to develop him as a winger?

I wonder if they figure there's not much room with CM, TT and DC.

Didn't seem like Krebs was thrilled with moving to the wing. I think he sees himself as a center.

Still seems early to know where they want to develop him. He was at center, then was at wing with Jankowski for a few games. It seems he's playing center on the PP but on the wing with Malone and Peterka with Quinn out. They're shorthanded at forward with four guys all out right now too so it seems they are trying to concentrate it all in just a few lines.

Aside from Quinn, Peterka it's possible one of the Russians from last year's draft. The other guy to watch for is Isak Rosen our second 1st rounder from last year.

" He has a shot that you wouldn’t expect given his size and any strength added to his frame could improve it to a laughable degree. He plays with speed and pace, using his teammates well. "

"He is one of the draft’s quickst skaters and owns a deadly one-timer, but Rosen also showed his versatlity by killing penalties with success."

Its too early to say.

I think he was moved to wing to calm him down a bit and get him with a vet like Jankowski (Now with Malone in Quinn’s spot). He was trying to do way too much when he got here, frequently forcing plays that weren’t there. But that’s understandable after being a key piece a huge trade. He was looking to make a big impression.

I think where Krebs eventually plays depends a little bit on this off season.

If the Sabres get a chance to add Wright, Savoie, or Cooley, I think you see a move to wing.

Imagine a Krebs - Wright - Cozens line.

If the Sabres miss out, I think you see more center development.

The good news is that Krebs is smart and can play either position at a high level.
