Kevyn Adams: The message to him has been, 'Don't wake up every day thinking about Buffalo.'

Krebs has kept a close eye on the Sabres and watches every game that doesn’t conflict with Rochester’s schedule. He pays attention to the names and numbers on the jerseys, so when the time comes, he doesn’t need a crash course in who’s who in the dressing room.

Sounds like he is going to bed every night thinking about Buffalo.

Krebs is already burning his ELC therefore you bring him up whenever.

Krebs should spend a whole season in Rochester as #1C next season therefore you keep him down...this year and next.

I vote for bring all 3 of the kids up next season. Yes to roll 4 lines. Hinostroza brought back to compete with Murray as 13th forward.

WTF you want Krebs in Roch for the whole year next year? That's a little overkill.

I’d add Mitts is listed at 6’1 195lbs

and Krebs is listed at 6’ 185lbs

That’s from the Sabres app. I had Murray’s weight wrong. It’s 228

So I was semi right on the size of Krebs in concern to Mittelstadt, so that's at least something to redeem me for. But, geesh, Murray has the NHL body for sure.

That would be a good plan to follow if UFA age were 31, not 27. There's a reason why the kids come up early now unlike 20 years ago. They have 4 less years under team control vs then

Not to mention we also have a better conception of when players peak athletically (Mid 20s, not late 20s/early 30s).

is the answer jesus

Really liked the jam in his game. After a decade of watching passive stars like Eichel, Reinhart, Vanek, and Pommer it’s nice to finally see some aggressive style players. He is a warthog out there
Agreed. He may not ooze the pure offensive talent of a guy like Zegras, but he checks so many other boxes. Leadership, grit, two-way play and enough offensive skill to anchor a second line. He's an all situations type of player. Hopefully he can fill the void that was left with O'Reilly's departure.

I think we should keep him up here until we're forced to send him down. So far so good in my opinion.

It will be interesting to see if Krebs stays. There's only one NHL game over 9 days- but he's getting lots of practice time.

I have been super impressed with his vision and passing. Particularly his passing.

I have been disappointed in his play away from the puck. It's not terrible but it hasn't improved much since his draft year and that worries me a bit. I can see him needing some more time in the AHL for this.

However, did I mention his passing?! It's already looking elite.

Tuch’s facial expression says it all

This is right after Krebs’ amazing pass to setup Tuch’s first ever goal as a Sabre, and it’s one of my favorite moments from this season so far.
