A 17 year old defenceman and 2nd and a 3rd. The defencemen would have to a current roster player not a prospect or an affiliate. What would be a reasonable return if indeed McCoy goes to Sudbury?

How about to London? Who from our roster would you target?A 17 year old defenceman and 2nd and a 3rd. The defencemen would have to a current roster player not a prospect or an affiliate.
If Smith nets a 07 then McCoy should. Might have to sweeten it with sending a pick back if Melee isn’t included.A 17 year old defenceman and 2nd and a 3rd. The defencemen would have to a current roster player not a prospect or an affiliate.
If it’s McCoy and melee then definitely should be Taylor coming backIf Smith nets a 07 then McCoy should. Might have to sweeten it with sending a pick back if Melee isn’t included.

In any deal for Donovan McCoy the Petes need a defenceman in return. They only have seven defencemen on the roster and need to add a good young left defenceman. Sudbury does not have a 16 year old defenceman drafted in the 1st round. If it’s McCoy and melee then definitely should be Taylor coming back
No they don't. Take the best player/pick package available no questions asked. There's three years to accommodate for positional needs. In any deal for Donovan McCoy the Petes need a defenceman in return. However if the Petes deal Donovan McCoy there is an immediate need to add a defenceman that has some experience. They cannot go with only six defencemen on the roster. No they don't. Yes. He'll probably be the #1 defensive dman on any team he's on but he's improved quite a bit in the transition game and has some offensive instincts. Is McCoy a solid 2 way dman? Could be a 3/4 guy on a contending team like Rangers. Rangers badly need a D but I don’t think the GM is going to break the bank for one.
It's the same thing with forwards, if Melee is gone there's only 11. They'll take the best package they can, then sort out what needs are left. However if the Petes deal Donovan McCoy there is an immediate need to add a defenceman that has some experience. We won't have to worry about it, Beck is goneLet's say hypothetically Beck stays in Peterborough...I wonder how fans will react to his refusal to be traded or for that matter if he'd even care given his desire to turn pro as soon as he can...
is he though? We won't have to worry about it, Beck is gone
Has a trade happened? We won't have to worry about it, Beck is gone
