Why are we absolutely incompetently feeble at the tribute communities centre
Absolutely insane comeback!!!Craaaazy. This team is the epitome of never out of it.
I think it's time to ask the 67's if the Petes can take their #NoQuit hashtag...
This 5-0 comeback reminds me of The Miracle on Manchester when LA came back to beat the Oilers in 1982.
I think the fans that closely followed the team for years and understand the Junior Hockey cycle recognize that the Petes need to do some sort of rebuild this year. There is much debate among these fans how big the rebuild should be. The Petes are drawing huge crowds and many are new fans. If the Petes trade their star players many of the newer fans and even some long term fans will be upset. It will be hard for many to see the Petes go from a contender to possibly missing the playoffs.Play like this will make the decision to trade players more difficult. What is the feeling around the rink? Should they go for it or trade like they would do in a normal year?
They’re gunna trade guys off still… if they weren’t they wouldn’t have traded Connor Lockhart to our biggest rival.Play like this will make the decision to trade players more difficult. What is the feeling around the rink? Should they go for it or trade like they would do in a normal year?
I think they are only going to trade a few players. They will trade Owen Beck and Sam Mayer. In the Beck trade they will likely want a more established forward rather than a 16 year old and they will want a 17 year old defenceman for Sam Mayer. In both deals they could get at least three, 2nds, two or three, 3rds and maybe a 4th. That alone will almost rebuild their draft pick cupboard. They may trade Konnor Smith and Liam Sztuska for the right offer. They will likely keep Jax Dubois, Tommy Purdeller, Jonathan Melee and Donovan McCoy as they likely return as overages next year. The Petes will make the trades they make with the goal of at least making the playoffs and remaining as competitive possible. They’re gunna trade guys off still… if they weren’t they wouldn’t have traded Connor Lockhart to our biggest rival.
I think the only thing in question is if they target an 07 or 06 in the Beck trade.
I am starting to wonder if they could target a change of scenery forward with some of the picks they get in the Beck and Mayer trades. An attempt to stay somewhat competitive even after selling off the top guys.
I would imagine they get 2 players for Beck if they want similar to the Mctavish tradeI think they are only going to trade a few players. They will trade Owen Beck and Sam Mayer. i keep circling back to Saginaw. Aiden Young and Liam Storch…I would imagine they get 2 players for Beck if they want similar to the Mctavish trade
The only issue I have with trading with Saginaw is they do not appear to have any 2024 2nd round draft picks. I am sure the Petes are going to want a 2nd in the upcoming draft. The Owen Beck trade is the trade where we have the best opportunity to get one.i keep circling back to Saginaw. Aiden Young and Liam Storch…
you guys will get an 07 for sure no reason why you shouldn’t for Owen beck. They’re gunna trade guys off still… if they weren’t they wouldn’t have traded Connor Lockhart to our biggest rival.
