Not only are they getting thumped but now will probably be without Mayer for a few games not very smart

Not really sure how anyone can put this on Oke. Oke has done a pretty darn good job during his time.

The Pete’s had a great team in 2019/20 and we seen flashes of excellence but we also seen stretches that were awful and full of underachievement. We’ve seen glimpses of a good team this year but now this… The talent is there but that means nothing if your coach can’t put it together.

Well on a serious note here, an 0-3 weekend, dropped last 5 of 6 and now only 13-11-1-2 on the season. It has not just been these past 6 games but really a continuation of how poor this team has been playing in all aspects of the game. I am genuinely wondering what the next step for this team is and the 'fire Rob Wilson' comments do not seem so far fetched anymore. I do not know what the answer is but this team looks lost in every way and something has to happen...

Guryev gone so I guess Mayer is going to be the new dman out of the lineup with suspension for dumb hits? Come on Wilson, get them under control for one weekend

I don't think the East is that tough this year either. If this Petes team plays up to their potential Ottawa and North Bay should be the only real threats and even then, should be right their competing with them. That has been the issue is we are struggling to take care of business, and when you are slumping, every battle is uphill.

It is still early but the divisions in the standings are starting to get more clear. It is starting to look like Ottawa and North Bay are 1-2 with Peterborough, Mississauga and Barrie settling in together as 3-4-5. Peterborough, Mississauga and Barrie are a combined 8 games above .500. North Bay is 10 games above .500. I think the gap is starting to become quite evident.

I am not sure at this point anyone can suggest the Petes are right there. I agree the talent is there and they “should” be right there but so should Mississauga and Barrie. If the Petes elevate themselvess to that category then logically you need to include the other two.

It is likley that the Colts get Clarke back after the WJHC. IF they do, look for them to add Shane Wright and at least one other impact player. If that happens, it will be tough for the Petes to keep up in the trade market.

Clearly the Petes are in a slump so I am not overly concerned about the Petes to be honest. I think they will be a solid playoff team but where I disagree is the characterization of the depth in the Eastern Conference. It is very deep and it shows in the Petes current record. There are a lot of tough teams in the East beating each other up. Outside of Niagara and Oshawa, is there another team that would be considered a pushover? Sudbury is below .500 but their goal differential is almost even. They are a better team than their record. Both Hamilton and Kingston are holding their own right now.

You can’t have off games in East vs East games and expect to pull out wins on the regular.

I think any coaching decision will be made during the Xmas break. I’m not sure when guys leave for world Junior camps but you’re looking at missing Othmann Stillman (who left today hurt) Zanetti, Purdeller and possibly Mayer (possible suspension from todays 5 minute major) the Petes depth will really be tested and things could get messy before Xmas break

Too many egos!!! Well the Petes won the goalie fight. Something to build on I guess... Stillman will not get a spot on Team Canada btw. I'd take Pharand and his 12 goals before him just saying...

Pretty spot on here OMG. Missy was up in CHL top ten then have nosedived like the Petes, Barrie is the sleeper, I think just waiting to see what happens, after world juniors. NB and Ottawa are teams to beat, other three are not playing to potential and could either sell or buy depending on what happens with NHL prospects returning or not.

SZTUSKA!!!!!
Longtime since I have seen a goalie fight !
This all occured because Reid misses so many calls against Ottawa , worst official in league ! Players get frustrated especially when for years we get screwed by ref in Ottawa? Be interesting to see what Petes get suspended we all know Ottawa won,t get any suspensions? How can I find out when Reid , Hamilton, or Lewis are scheduled to ref in Peterborough because as a season ticket holder ill skip the games because we never win when these clowns officiate

With Missy loss today to London. Looking at last ten games; ott, ham, nb best records over that span. Last ten gm record seem majority of teams under 500. other than those three.

Petes fourth in conference for goals against (one back of Ham), fourth in goals for. The sky isnt falling (yet) but believe they need to shake things up. Some underperforming players and need to move on from them.

Yaaa I would be absolutely shocked to see Shane Wright traded to Barrie. Doubt he would accept that deal and I just can't see that happening at all.

Stillman hasn’t looked anything near a first round nhl pick. I think the petes would of been better keeping Pharand and the picks and moved them for someone else

He even admitted hearing folks saying it was a stretch getting picked in that spot. Overated comes to mind. But who knows, sometimes things change when they play ahl etc. He just doesn't seem motivated to me since getting drafted

This clown show never makes that type of decision? Mike Oke hockey lol Have said for two years now Wilson no discipline for just stupid stupid penalties! And last year they couldnt figure out who was our best goalie? Poor trades, poor drafting but when you make a mistake on a pick if you dont recognize it early your stuck with player for 4 years? As a GM or coach today you have to assess your players constantly and always look to improve your team?

Spearing blocked shot vs North Bay - may be a broken wrist
Stillman left today's game holding his arm like he injured his shoulder
Othmann, Purdeller, Zanetti leave soon for WJC camps
Mayer facing possible suspension

No one feels sorry for the Petes.
The Xmas break can't come soon enough......5 games left........they really need a reset.

Petes are 3-6 since Othmann arrived. Maybe it’s a good thing he is leaving for WJ Camp. Character means something so sone of these 19 year olds better start owning the room and get them playing like a team. Doesn’t exist today
