I'm slightly torn on what result I want today. On the one hand it would be great if the Petes wrap it up today and have time to rest before round 3.

On the other...it would be awesome is they could finish it at home Monday. The crowds have been great, and if they finish it today it would be 10-14 days before we get another home game.

But you don't really want to give Ottawa any hope of a comeback, so wrapping it up today would be best.
Be careful what you wish for. Monumental collapse giving them life. Choke job of the year.

That was a structural poor hockey game, unbelievable outcome. Sooo many unforced icings and bad clearing attempts.

Two more chances for the Pete’s to correct. Best of luck!

Pathetic. If they lose Monday they won’t win back down there Tuesday what a joke of a collapse that was

Can’t just sit back and let Ottawa have a shooting spree for 20 minutes they tried it Thursday and it worked but Ottawa is too skilled to give them that many chances

Good job all around by the kids on the ice and the coaching staff. This will still be a tough series to win. Goals are hard to come by in this series so one change I would like to see the Petes make is to switch Stillman and Avon. Put Avon back to LW on the line with Beck and Lockhart. This change would allow Lockhart to return to his proper position Right wing and hopefully get Beck going and if it works would give the Petes two strong offensive lines. Stillman lacks offensive ability and would fit in fine with Dubois and Melee. Like i said Beck is struggling offensively and with wingers like Lockhart and Avon I think that good things could happen. Any thoughts?
Dont agree

Brutal effort in our own zone no one skating floating around then cant clear puck embarrassing 3 goal lead with 20 to play?

No hitting tonight either. Ottawa played two lines basically in third. No jump no hustle. Cant rely on blocking shots all the time as way to stop a team.

Lot of puck watching especially on the third goal Lockhart is puck focused and loses his man he scores on the rebound

It was a different team than the first four this series and to be honest entire playoffs. Such a weird game. Although we had a 4-1 lead just was not crisp with passes, clearing attempts and frankly anything. Need a big bounce back Monday. Even if a 3-2 series lead our backs are against the wall now

I don’t get how they could rally together to protect a THREE goal lead to finish off an arch rival. I haven’t been this frustrated since the 2019-20 season got cancelled.

Let’s hope they put it back together and come out with everything on Monday and play like it’s game 7.

Well I feel stupid now. lol

Thought you guys had it the bag as the Petes had the victory bus running and ready to go..

Credit to the 67's for showing some balls and finally skating like a real team. Had the fans rocking and fired up in the 3rd!

Monday's game will be huge!

I think we all thought that. Need a big regroup and Petes at home will take this

Dont agree there is nothing wronge with our lines Avon is a fast player playing where he is against Ottawas 3rd pairing is a good strategy . Hes scored in series his speed is a weapon there bid D Mintoyuk and Matier just body our smaller players nullify them physically. Each and ever game is a blank slate of ice, players write their impact on the ice need a better effort from a few
