What happened to Sirman at the end of the game ?
He was crazy mad -but I didn’t see what caused that

Also did McCoy leave the game ? I didn’t notice him playing after the first -

Also -the Petes pump up videos are fantastic!
I love them !!!

Major applause for whomever is responsible

Instead of playing all of them before the start of the game could you play one before the start of each period?

Or could you PLEASE make more pump up videos?

Great game last night. Other than a few minutes late in the 3rd, it was all Petes. I really don't see the 67's coming back to win 3 straight. I hope the Petes end it tomorrow afternoon and get a couple of extra days to rest.

From this 67s fan:

Very well done by the Petes on the series so far. I expect them to close out Ottawa's season on Saturday afternoon. Don't get me wrong, I'll be at the arena cheering for the 67s and giving a final send-off to our OAs and graduating vets, but I don't expect things to go our way tomorrow. The Petes coaching staff have done a great job in developing a gameplan to really limit Ottawa's offensive opportunities, and the Petes players have done an incredible job at executing that gameplan, especially defensively. Our forwards really haven't had much room to operate out there and then they do, there seems to be a stick or body in the way...and Simpson has been great. It's been frustrating to watch as a 67s fan, but the Petes are playing textbook playoff hockey.

I had predicted and Ottawa 4-2 series win at the outset, based on what I had seen during the regular season and head-to-head series. I thought Ottawa had the coaching advantage and better team chemistry. Big kudos to the Petes for pulling things together and gelling as a team for the playoffs.

I'm glad the series has been played clean and tight so far. Hopefully neither team suffers any injuries on Saturday and that the Petes go into the NB or Barrie series at full health.

Best of luck the rest of the way. See you next season.

Petes select D Carson Cameron #13th overall from the Central Ontario Wolves! Welcome to Peterborough! #GoPetesGo

I'm slightly torn on what result I want today. On the one hand it would be great if the Petes wrap it up today and have time to rest before round 3.

On the other...it would be awesome is they could finish it at home Monday. The crowds have been great, and if they finish it today it would be 10-14 days before we get another home game.

But you don't really want to give Ottawa any hope of a comeback, so wrapping it up today would be best.

I understand what you’re saying but just end it today. Petes gotta play with as much or more compete that they have this series and take the win

Let's wrap it up.

For your sake you really want to get them while you're on a high. A wounded animal needs to be put down.

IF (big IF) the 67's win today then there will be an once of optimism with the fact that they would have finally broken through Peterborough's tight checking game. Then the pressure would swing back to Peterborough to win game 6 as no one wants to play game 7 on the road.

I like the sounds of what the Petes were able to accomplish today at the draft… I think this draft can go from decent to pretty good if they can get Gavin Lock to commit. He posted this on Instagram… so looks like he’s not 100% against it.

Would be absolutely massive if the Petes can sign Lock! Based purely off talent, he is a top 1st rounder and very happy Oke was able to nab him. Now let’s sign him

Ottawa is the number one team -they finished 33 points ahead of us -they are supremely talented and we cannot give them an inch.

We cannot let up at all -they are so fast and so gifted they could turn on us any moment -

We must keep the pressure on

I have been ragging all over Ottawa this series and really having anything positive to say but here one area where the 67's have dominated the Petes and that is on a 4 on 4 situations. Maybe Ottawa should hope for a only 4 players the rest of the game

2-1

Yes it’s nice to be up 2-1 after 1 but boy do we ever need to clean things up period 2 and 3. Very sloppy and outplayed after the tv timeout. Gotta (Gavin) Lock in here and take this game back
