Only saw the first period of this one but from what I saw the Petes were the better team, They'll be mad at me on the 67's board but Ottawa is very soft. Highly skilled mind you but they are easily pushed off the puck frequently but I have seen the 67's knock around a few Petes on their ass but it more so the other way.

This is a totally winnable series for the Petes. They're big and move the puck well. Plus they have a very good goalie.

The 67's goal was kicked in no question.

Prove me wrong Ottawa but this one was huge for Peterborough...

Good hockey weather for tonight. The Mem Centre should be buzzing. Not sure what can be said before this game like whether the Petes just press "repeat" and do what they did on Sunday all over again?

Ottawa's going to try a few things different, like get more shots and crowd our net, so we have to be prepared for a change in their approach. They might try and get under some guys' skin ( Stillman and Othmann no doubt) so have to be prepared to turn the other cheek. We did that in Game 2.

Remember that bonehead penalty by Othmann if Ottawa ends up scoring and winning this game… absolutely foolish to do that at the end of the period

The potential goat becomes the hero.
Great win by the Petes.
The physical play by the Petes is just wearing the 67s down. Othmann has been doing a great job playing aggressively in the playoffs without taking penalties. That penalty at the end of the 2nd period was his first penalty since Game #1 of the playoffs vs Sudbury.

Petes win 67% of face-offs, out-shoot 67s 36 to 28 (including 19-9 in the 2nd period). Simpson was stellar. Great play by Smith to break up Tolnai breakaway.
