Any chance those top two lines get mixed up for Thursday's game?
IMO Othmann really needs a reset.
He gets so easily frustrated resulting in his aggressive style crossing the line.
Maybe give this a try?

Othmann Robertson Lockhart
Avon Beck Hayes

I like what Melee Dubois and Stillman have been doing and despite the lack of ice time Purdeller Lefebvre and McCue are holding there own.

Zanetti likely back Thursday........not sure how that will affect things on the backend.

I would leave the lines the same for a few more games. It can take several games for a line to get into a rhythm. As for Zanetti, I'm looking forward to his steady presence back on D. They can dress 7 or rest one guy every game as a way to prep the guys for the stretch run to the playoffs.

I wouldn't change the lines yet. Really only been two games for that line and we have to remember that it is a completely rebuilt line. 2 out of 3 (Hayes and Beck) literally just got here and both new trying to adjust. Too much talent too hold it back for long

Agree. I don’t even understand why that line (Othmann) is the concern right now since that entire line was +1 in a 2-1 loss.

I agree. Don't mess with the lines. That would be a dumb move, give them some time, let's not panic.
The Petes weren't great but they also got goalied to a degree (and completely in the 3rd).

With Leaver out of Oshawa I'm setting tonight over/under at 5.5 Petes goals.

Can some one please show Avon how to score on a breakaway. What is that his 20th in last five games? Joking but come on, try a different move than going to backhand all the time.

Spearing hurt again? Don't think he played more than 3-4 shifts and wasn't on the bench for the 2nd or 3rd.

That is the game we needed to see from Othmann! Some life to his game, haven’t seen him play like that in a Pete’s jersey. Keep it rolling

As much as I like to joke around about it, Panwar with 9 points in 6 games. Hayes and White 10 points combined since the trade.

Panwar really taking advantage of his time in Hamilton. He and Lardis seem to be putting it together.

Panwar is good. He always was.

It's going to be completely overlooked (for good reason) as he plays a few minutes a night on the 4th line and doesn't get a chance to put up much in terms of numbers, but Chase Lefebvre is a solid solid player.

So far he's stuck in the lineup and avoided the healthy scratch while McCue and Page have mostly rotated out and I really hope he continues to stick, he makes a lot of smart, effective plays night in and night out.

Peterborough Examiner said Brennan Othmann lost two teeth when the puck hit him in the face and he managed to return and score the game winner. love that grit

Great game from Othmann but the Petes should not be scrambling to beat the last place team at home right after just losing to Kingston in our barn. Need to step it up. Yes the road trip should help gel this team. And yes Panwar and Lardis are looking good with the Bulldogs- but they always were good. with the Petes........Technically OMG67 I think Panwar was a third line forward with the Petes but your point is taken. Go Petes tonight in Guelph.

Defense needs to be better transitioning the puck. Our forwards will neve be the problem. But if they cant get them the puck with numbers, that is an issue that Wilson needs to make his money and make sysytems that will help with that
