Nice comeback! Especially with the host team up 4-1 in a do or die mode. Could have easily folded after they went up by 3. Will add that even though Ernst hasn't looked great, the Blazers in general never looked comfortable defending in their own end the whole tourney and last night was no different. First goal two guys are caught watching the man below the line. Lockhart slips in. 2nd goal the defender loses track of where Othmann is. Wasn't quick enough on the exit and bam. 4th goal those failed clearings will always come back to bite you. Weak attempt by the defender to box out Zanetti too. Tie game. OT on the break they had 2 on 2 but defenders just mess it all up. Beck was already around his man. But he stays with Beck so the other defender has to collapse on him, leaving Avon open. First defender should have stayed back to take the trailing Avon while the deep defender slides over to take Beck. Poor decision burns them.

I am trying to watch the replay of the game but cannot any suggestions?
I tried my CHL app but the subscriptions are for international viewers only-
I tried my Shaw blue curve for a TSN replay but there is nothing-

Does have any suggestions? I am fine with paying to watch it

Use to be able to buy 1 day packages from TSN. Not sure if they have repeat programming anymore though?

Funny, when 4-1 knives were out for coaches ect. Now won, and jumping back on bandwagon. The comment about poor talent in OHL, as one commented earlier. Let's see.....beat QMHL Champ, beat WHL host in do or die, so 2nd best team in CHL? If you rate head to head? Tonight could take that to #1? Its a tournament style, one game showdowns. One that gets the bounces and lucky breaks win. Sometimes not the best team.

There are three champions left. Two are not going to win. Doesnt make them better or worse. All Champions in own right!

And schedule is tough; has a team won in the second of consecutive games?

Pretty sure all my neighbors hate me after last night. A lot of screaning coming from the living room watch party (okay, it was only five of us).

I've thought all OHL playoffs long when the chips were down, you could see the Petes path through because (all respect to the teams they beat) the Petes had so many more "star players" who would step up and get the big goal when it mattered.

I'll admit as Kamloops was pushing in OT my thought was that it might be a mega star from Kamloops (Zellweger or Stankoven) who finally ended that streak but the magical run continues!

Nice to see Avon get the winning goal but sometimes the player who gets the winner gets all the attention. It was a beautiful play and smart pass by Beck to set up the winner. Good stuff and good team effort.

I agree it’s really nice to see Avon score the winner. He has been a star for this team all season long. And to think a few short years ago everyone wanted him traded so they could make a playoff run. Then he becomes a big piece that gets them to where they are. And Beck what else can we say. He made a beautiful pass allowing Avon to score. It shows that these guys are a team and have each others backs. I thought Stillman had an amazing game too. Too many names to the list. Great job Petes! No matter the outcome of this tournament we are proud of you and look forward seeing what the future has in store for this team. Go Petes Go!

Peterborough boy Stillman with the TSN turning point
Peterborough born boy Beck with the great rush forcing 2 defenders to him so he could set up the GWG
Peterborough boy Avon scores the GWG

Could a better script have been written?!
Hoping there are 2 more chapters left in this story

Not certain, but I know Windsor (in 2009) started 0-2 and then won 4 in a row to win the title. Schedule might have been bit different then, but I'm sure they still had at least one back-to-back. So, point being, it can be done. And if any team can do it again, I think it's this Petes group!

Edit: just double checked. Windsor won their tie-breaker and semi-final on consecutive days.

It is more than luck. It is a mix of talent, determination, character, heart and heart and playing as a team. This team is a special team that could go down as one best teams in Petes’ history.
But they can only do it down multiple goals... I'll take the hate.. great team, so well built by Oke.

There are some of us who think they are winning despite the 1-1-3 and despite the awful PP.

Maybe they could play aggressive before they're literally backs to the wall?

Did that against Kamloops first game. How did that go? This is a team that relies on a system. If the system works, why change it? They are one game from Mem Cup final....and your still bitching....wow.. what are you a disgruntled employee or failed coach?

The linesman breaking up that fight after the hit into the boards, before it started, was bogus. I don’t blame Wilson for being irate. Had they let that fight go, Seattle gets an instigator and the penalties would have been offsetting. Instead, Petes had to go on the PK.

Also, Seattle would have had to do without one of their best D for 17 minutes.

What happened ?

-somebody was called a “loser” ?

I didn’t see it and no one here (where I am at home) can tell me what happened
Apparently, Spearing wasn’t happy with the Seattle captain during the ceremonial face off. I thought it looked like the Seattle captain motioned to Spearing’s jaw. Trash talking going on. A little bump too.
