Getting smacked by Kamloops 10-2.......check
Facing an opponent on their 2nd game of a back-to-back...........check
Better goaltender..........check
Playing the game on a Thursday night, kinda feels like home.........check

I expect the Petes to come out physical with lots of shots on net and going to the net.
It's important that they quiet the crowd sooner rather than later.
I expect Simpson to be sharp tonight.
Hoping to see Tucker "Mr. Thursday night" Robertson make a big impact again tonight.
Leave it all out on the ice boys!!

I feel like if the Petes play their game and weather the storm early, there's a good chance of winning. The Petes are now used to the arena and the crowd and because they watched last night's game, they have studied how the Blazers are beatable and how their crowd can be quietened.

I would like to see Beck and Stillman have a big game. I wouldn't be surprised if one of our defenseman gets a big goal.

First time around Kamloops had the advantage, this time around, the Petes should have the advantage with Kamloops having to play last night.....hope your boys can take advantage!

Good luck!

That no finish by Melee and the penalty by Stillman killed them. Started out so well then just turn to standing around and game getting away from them.

Defensemen are scrambling around in their own end, and unable to clear the zone. When the forwards get the puck, they can't get into the Blazers' zone with control, and are turning it over.
Blazers point men are getting far too much time & space, and are not being covered well. Hopefully those flaws can be addressed & cleaned up during the 1st intermission. Dump & chase only works if the puck can be recovered. That isn't happening.

11-95 on the powerplay playoffs and memorial cup. Unacceptable for a team with this much talent
Yeah. I don't wanna bash coaches and management too much because they built a team with a clear identity that's on the same page.
However, in those Kamloops games the weak PP (which shouldn't be weak with the skill on the team) and the lack of a plan B really becomes a problem. Kamloops isn't the best team in the tournament and they don't have the best defense but they're mobile and fast enough to not allow too many breakaways. They're also very efficient against the puck in the neutral zone which is a problem for the Petes not just when they're on the PP. I don't think the Petes are poorly coached but in these games against Kamloops it seems to be a system/coaching problem. There are several Petes players with zero confidence out there. Even players who played a very good season or playoffs. Mayer, Avon or Hayes for example. Of course Kamloops playing at home doesn't help either if your confidence is low.
