I doubt he would have been re-instated so quick if it was something really bad.
But it was bad enough for him and the union to not object to the termination of his contract. Just a very strange situation. It will be interesting to see if any team signs him, and what the cost will be.
Obviously it violated his contract. I imagine that stuff happens from time to time that Teams over look , Hawks chose not to, I'm guessing because of their recent history.

Still maybe he was accused of something minor but it causes tension. He isn’t a star anymore and Chicago isn’t going to the playoffs so maybe he says I can’t play here if ….whatever. The team says what the heck if you want out ok go we don’t object. Why would the Union care? League looks into and finally comes up with well we don’t know but if you 2 are good with just cutting ties, ok.
If I heard correctly, According to Leafs morning take and Kypreos’ show he wasn’t actually suspended. I think he was taking some time to re-evaluate himself.
