I was in the camp of trading Letang in like 2013. Always thought he had all the physical tools but had zero intelligence. Once age took over and he lost his speed, it was over. The issue with Novak is he's not strong enough to play in the dirty areas but has skill, his game translates best to wing and not C. He's never been good at faceoffs and his D isn't good enough to be a shutdown anything. You could put shutdown wingers with him to allow him to be the offense driver on his line but otherwise, lol shutdown C? If that's what Sullivan wants to do with him, yikes.

Yeah that's the lineup I posted above. A third line of Heinen, Hayes, Bemstrom is better as the way Sullivan wants to use it.

Granlund was never getting used properly and they should have held on to him imo, he was going through a brutal situation with divorce and his wife basically leaving him for a bloke she fell in love with online back in London that she left him for before meeting him in real life. He was a mess in Nashville and the Pens while Sullivan's idiotic usage didn't help.

Had a summer to sort his life out, came to the Sharks via trade and was back to normal.
