Look at the replies here, there are multiple people saying something along the lines of "Poehling is not healthy". I don't know what they're referring to, but there is a lot of talk among Penguins fans on twitter that something is wrong with Poehling.

That was out a bit ago. Honestly with the flood of RFA's I am cool with moving on from Poehling

Yeah like Poehling isn't actually anything special. I'd take Geekie over him 100%

Like I said, I don’t expect Dubas to be perfect. He’ll make good and bad moves. At the moment this seems like a bad one.

Poehling is only 24 years old was playing really well as the games went on last season and was definitely standing out in a good way.

I wouldn't say he isn't anything special. If anything he's a guy that we really could have used to step up in the bottom 6 specifically L3. Hes got great pedigree and has made some really big plays when it counts on team USA. I know that was a while ago but I felt like he was really pulling it together.

Poehling had 14 points in 53 games, which is almost identical production to Julien Gauthier who wasn't qualified by the Senators.

Even if he's healthy, I don't think he's much of a loss. You can get his performance out of a league minimum UFA without having to worry about arbitration.

Just go sign Michael McLeod to replace Poehling, who was also not qualified today by New Jersey and would be an improvement on Poehling.
