Exactly. This has been failure all around. On multiple fronts. The need to go to bat for certain guys, who also suck and have gotten us to this low point, is strange.

Sullivan is finished here: he should go. Hextall was the wrong GM at the wrong time, and and accelerated our decline with shit roster moves. He should also go. Jarry is incredibly unreliable and prone to countless screw ups. He should go far, far away from this organization. I don’t see how any of these things are incomparable.

Hextall is worse than the wrong GM at the wrong time. Hextall needs to find another vocation. I can't envision a situation where his skill set fosters success.

McCann was used as a 3rd / 4th line winger. We didn't play him at C so Mark Jankowski could play C.

In reality, even with this shtty roster, coaching and the worst goaltending in the league sunk them again. With a different coach and goalie they'll be in the playoffs again next season.

He was used in all situations and was on pace for 70 points or so his last year. Losing McCann was insane, and hextall and Sullivan should be held accountable.

I think the Granlund trade is a fireable offense.

He was used in all situations and was on pace for 70 points or so his last year. Losing McCann was insane, and hextall and Sullivan should be held accountable.

What last year? McCann was on pace for 61 points his last season here and that was largely because our top six was so injured he was forced into it and our top powerplay.

This coach will never remove Guentzel, Sid, Letang or Malkin from the top powerplay and you need a right shot.

I prefer Rakell's game over McCann's tbh.

Marino is a reliable defender for the Devils.
Matheson put up incredible stats in Montreal.

Sully...wouldn't play Doc in the top 6 to even spark anything there or to play off of his strong play. That mental gymnastics of dumbf***ery is 100% Mike Sullivan.

Who is paying major assets for those contracts outside of McCann?

None of those players are foundational players.

We heard what Marino was worth unless we took back cap. It was Rathbone and a pick, Branstrom and a pick, or Smith and a pick.

Matheson was a cap dump here and I highly doubt that changed.

Tanev's contract was awful.

McCann is the only one and I think it's telling a team traded for him and then immediately exposed him.

Hextall moved assets to cater to a bad f***ing coach instead of firing him. Hextall also has made bad move after bad move from the Expansion Draft on...
