People need adjust their expectations of draft picks moving forward. We are going to see longer development timelines for the foreseeable future (probably until the Millennials age out of being the majority league). Don't quote me, I'm still in the Jack camp, always have been. Ask the people who think his style ain't gonna work in the NHL. I don't see him ever becoming a goal scoring sniper, a power forward or defensively solid two way guy. Either he dominates in that flashy puck moving playmaker style or he busts.

That’s my first game in two years I was surprised at the good draw granted some pens fans there too. You know it’s bad when the crowd tries to start the wave down a goal 10mins into the first period. I don’t know why some bother listening to the post game show or take the comments to heart. They’re very rarely going to criticize anything harshly because it’s the team they more or less work for. They’ll sugarcoat it for those who are more casual fans or aren’t ready to set fire to the organization because that’s what they’re obligated to do.

I’ll give Dano credit, I think he was stewing deep down going over how weak Kuokkanen’s attempted clear was that lead to the eventual game winner.

At some point they need to be held accountable for their own lack of development, we’ve had three coaches in the last three seasons - how many do they get before we stop blaming the coaches for the players not producing?

Fitz has been at the helm two years.
He’s gonna need to be a HoF caliber GM to get this shitshow turned around in anything less than a couple of years.

Majority of this board wanted all kids on this roster. Also didn’t want anyone brought in to score (tarasenko). A lot of people though sharagovich was going to be even better. He is brutal I was behind the goal when he came in on that mini breakaway in the second the shot missed the bet by 3 feet. Get legit scoring talent on this team get some veteran leadership. Take the c from nico he does not deserve it. No one gets a c until this team makes the playoffs

I don’t agree, we are weak all across the board. We have no proven offensive threats besides (maybe) Bratt. Our goaltender is looking weaker and more injury prone every season. Our organizational culture is trash.

But that’s all besides the point I was making anyway. Despite years and years of both quantity and supposedly quality draft picks, we have not even one of the kind of player I described.
