I know it's a lunacy price to ask, but I still want Othmann even if Kakko is coming back. Kakko is a reclamation project right now IMO, they still need a great asset coming in the deal.
Kakko, Othmann and a 2024 1st for Guentzel is an insane price for the Rangers to pay, but that's what I'd demand.

Agreed. The first is going to be so late it's practically a second, and Kakko isn't a top six winger at this stage.
You need one more significant piece in the form of a highly touted prospect.
I'm with you on this one. Kakko is not my idea of a centre piece. I'd sooner take Othmann, a 1st and a 2nd than Kakko and a 1st.

Carolina has to be willing to give up Necas? The Rangers have been rumored to potentially move Kakko for a while now.
We already have Joona Koppanen. We could move him over to center. He couldn't produce less there than at LW.
