The Wings and Oilers need to do something about their goaltending and Jarry is by far the best goalie available. There's bound to be a couple more goalie moves
Their intention is to move him, but they're not gonna just give him away.

There’s a good argument for this…boost the PP for sure…but he ain’t coming here lol

Andy, that's some dude's random blog. The front page has stories like Aaron Rodgers is going to the Rams next year. Come on, man.

True, but it's 10 games. 6 of them playing while hurt.
Not much to draw on to project into the future. At this point the Sens just need all the help in the world to make the playoffs. So I think this was the best move they could have made in this market.
Plus Ullmark has proven he can still play well on bad defensive teams.
The irony on this board delivers

It’d be cool to actually have someone who drives play and shoots from the right half wall on the PP…haven’t had that for 7 years now lol
Stamkos is basically "stand in the circle on the power play and shoot one-timers" made human. I think he'd be a good get, given the contract wasn't absurd, but like you said, he's got no reason to come here and there's no reason to get into a bidding war over a guy who is only a PP specialist anymore.

I really like Ullmark in general, but I do find it hilarious that this board freaks out about Jarry's terrible playoff track record (which is 8 games with a .891 save%) while hand-waving away Ullmark's terrible playoff track record (which is 10 games with a .887 save%).

I dunno how you guys have it in you to be angry anymore. The most I got these days is just mild annoyance amidst a sea of apathy. This team's cooked, and the laundry list of incompetence over the years since the back to backs sealed the deal--Sully, JR, Hextall, Dubas, Mario, FSG, the pro and amateur scouting depts. This is all boredom and waiting to see how awful the rebuild is gonna be or if the organization manages to luck into some elite building blocks quickly.

Yeah it's the Pittsburgh Pirates syndrome. Why am I mad if this team loses a game and ends up mediocre? Being mad would imply I expect them to be better, but I don't.

It's funny in the Pirates thread where people freak out and say "everyone needs to be fired", when the Pirates are like 38-41 on the year. Like yeah, that record sounds about right

Easily pixies. By an immeasurable amount. Andy is a doomer. Pixies is legit psychotic about Sullivan and Dubas.

It's hilarious how much you guys think I care about HFBoards when the majority of my time is spent on here while I'm bored at work.

Most of my time is spent watching the Penguins and enjoying when they win.

Kyle Dubas and Mike Sullivan mean nothing in the long run to me as a fan. It's just hilarious how our management is so bad.

Some of the most entertaining hockey this team's played for half a decade has been the utter collapses they've managed to shit out on the regular. The chaos is as fun to watch as any game where they somehow manage to drop 10 goals.
