Honestly, I think I'd try Pitlick on one of the top two lines.

Also, I just found this for sale:

Well kids, it’s almost December and the Pens are towards the bottom of the WC race. I know the East is fairly competitive, but this is silly.
The fact the Pens are doing this badly on the heels of missing the playoffs last season and there's still no rumblings of a coaching change is just so disheartening. Because it's like, exactly what has to happen for Sullivan to ever be canned if the current state of the team doesn't warrant even a discussion?

I think Sullivans seat should be getting a little warmer but perhaps should fire Reirden first… the power play is just unacceptable at the moment. I like how the Penguins try to find up and coming coaches however instead of hiring retreads from other teams like Tortorella or Laviolette. Wilkes Barre isn’t exactly lighting it up but it looks like a lot of guys are hurt or either called up. Not sure if Forrest would be ready to step up or not.

You know Sullivan was a retread, right?

Should be tons of fun tonight. Oldest team in the league on the second half of a back to back in which they laughably botched the first game, against a dude who can score 60 goals in Matthews and another dude on an absolute heater in Nylander.

Pens win 5-0, cuz hockey's dumb.

Yes I recall him having a cup of coffee with the Bruins but I believe almost 10 years in between coaching an NHL team doesn’t classify him as a retread necessarily.
Bylsma has not been a NHL coach for more than 6 years now…does he qualify? Maybe we should give him a call lol

The team has been this bad with an almost entirely healthy roster until the last two games, Crosby gunning for the Rocket, Rust looking like a reborn man, Malkin playing very well until he got sick, Eller exceeding expectations and no less than five shutouts. Imagine how bad things can get if there are more injuries or Crosby starts feeling his age more. Winning games feels like a Herculean effort unless our goalie stands on his head, while on the contrary no Penguins lead feels safe.

I kind of hope Dubas gets humiliated by his former team tonight. Maybe being curbstomped by your ex will get him to actually start seeing the light when it comes to Sullivan.

With the possibility Perry isn’t completely stepping away from hockey and it’s just an issue with the Hawks:

All in favor of acquiring The Worm?

Edit: forgot he makes $4m. Welp…

This is from Taylor, also said no line rushes today:

• PP1: Erik Karlsson, Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel, Evgeni Malkin, Rust. Marcus Pettersson has taken a couple of reps in place of Karlsson.

• PP2: Kris Letang, Reilly Smith, Jeff Carter, Radim Zohorna, Jansen Harkins. Alex Nylander is rotating in with Harkins.

• Rust working with the top power play is a good sign he's nearing a return.
