White on the second line is just..
Issue is Raks has been dog***.
And there are no good options. You can force puusy there but he’s been garbage too.

Honestly it doesn't much matter, anyway. I'm fine with Raks being bucked down the lineup and GCR at least can put the puck in the net. I'd only make one adjustment were it me and frankly I don't even know how much it would help. So it's kinda whatever.
I'd put Puustinen with Malkin for one last stretch, call up Poulin and play him with Eller and Rakell. White can go back on the bench.

Outside of that, there aren't many other options.

What's funnier is Kingerski's response that I just read, some blokes were mocking him for it too lol.

Read the back and forth by Kingerski and Shirey in the comments lol.

Harkins f***ing sucks, he's playing average hockey for a player of his draft status that they could have just used a lad from wbs for instead.

I still refuse to ever join that cesspool of a site, but lol at other blokes saying what we've been saying to dipshits like Yohe.

Sullivan is the sales guy who sounds great on the phone, knows the product inside and out, and has a good sales approach...but doesn't always close.

Then comes an ultimate discussion point of "when it comes down to it, is he a "good" sales guy or not?" There comes a time when the record IS the indicator. If they are not winning under Sullivan, they need someone new. That doesn't automatically mean that Sullivan is not a good coach. Just like a sales guy - "your sales numbers do not indicate that you are a good sales person".

The response of "well give specific examples while not citing the two biggest, most glaring examples" is such a p***y, cop out response. DK should be embarrassed for that but...we all know. I mean, I could rattle off 10 things that are coaching-related. Whether or not it's Sullivan's direct involvement in a "x's and o's"-like manner is irrelevant at a certain point. You can easily point to something like "Throughout the year, this team has been consistently inconsistent with the effort put forth in the game. Sometimes they play 20min, 40min, 50min, and lose, and sometimes they play 60min and win dominantly." That is absolutely something that is on Sullivan.

Ooof. Oooooooooooooof.

I don't know how anyone is looking at the on-ice product and is happy right now.

Also I'm making a mental note that ten points is the difference between "MVP season what a freak of nature!" and "Totally washed. Get this guy outta here. Disaster zone." Yes that's isn't totally fair. No I don't care.

I thought when Smith went down and DOC got bumped up the logical move was to call up Poulin and give him a legit look on 3LW for a stretch. With so little in our prospect cupboard, why not get a long look at what you have? Is it his waiver status and they think he might not clear again?

I'm pretty sure Poulin isn't waivers eligible until next year but I'm too lazy to look it up and can't be arsed to anyway because I doubt they give him a look, regardless. But I agree with you FWIW.

Have you watch the Penguins for any amount of time over the last 5 years?

Colin White was always destined for regular duty. Just like ZAR, Sceviour, Jankowski, etc.

Sullivan is hilarious.

That said, I'm finding it hard to give a shit about these lines because Rakell has sucked. I'd rather Puustinen with Malkin instead of White but whatever. These lines will suck though

The right move tbh.
I wouldn't complain if Dubas chose this route but tbh I think the Pens are f***ed either way. Grabbing some late firsts isn't going to delay the inevitable tank that is coming.

Pens are gonna suck even worse very soon whether they keep Jake or trade him.

Maybe I was thinking of Ty Smith who had to clear during pre-season? Makes it even more frustrating then to not even give him a look.

Maybe they are keeping the roster spot open in case the next Boychuk or D'Agostini is put on waivers?

Guentzel - Crosby - Puus
OC - Malkin - Accari
Rakell - Eller - Rust
Hark - Carter - White
Malkin absolutely needs a defensively responsible forward

That was me last year. December or January til end of March or start of April. I missed jack shit.

Might have to do a viewing hiatus again this year. Soon.

Yeah I still check the scores and get updates, but I figure the games just look mostly identical game after game. I’ll start watching again closer to the trade deadline probably, but I just feel like I’m not missing anything at this point.

Way easier to not get mad about the Penguins when you only see the scores.
