I've been making this point a little more frequently. The benefit of Adams and Sill was that they were making league minimum, not $2mil.

As I said before, if Dubas even gets a hint of interest, I would send him out. Even if it's for a 7th. Cut bait if you can.

That said, I do think Acciari is capable of more. I think he's underperforming and being underplayed. But with the issues this team has and Eller signed, he's just not a need. The $2mil could be better put elsewhere and the roster spot, at this point, may be more important.
What's funnier is Kingerski's response that I just read, some blokes were mocking him for it too lol.

Read the back and forth by Kingerski and Shirey in the comments lol.

Harkins f***ing sucks, he's playing average hockey for a player of his draft status that they could have just used a lad from wbs for instead.

I still refuse to ever join that cesspool of a site, but lol at other blokes saying what we've been saying to dipshits like Yohe.

Definitely think Colin White is going to solve Malkin's problems.
its over no matter what they do...I like that he moved Rakell down to third...he just needs to coach them how to exit the f***ing zone as a group and support each other...

Rossi opines that Dubas should trade Guentzel and that he shouldn't stop there - anyone not named Crosby, Malkin, or Letang should be shopped.

"He should do so as part of a multi-layered plan to infuse his organization with futures while also providing Crosby, Malkin and Letang with a roster the next couple of seasons that is younger and deeper, with players who want to be in Pittsburgh and are willing to follow Crosby’s lead instead of marching to their tune, with teammates who push back more often, and with cap-space flexibility to add if the team proves itself more than merely a fringe playoff contender."

The right move tbh.

Do I agree with Rob Rossi?

This is strange.

Actually I don't completely. Trade everything not name Crosby. For their benefit. Unfortunately Crosby is kinda stuck on this shitshow.
I say keep the core but don’t trade for any idea that we’re going have playoff success. Trade for interesting assets and players that can play a more physical game. I don’t think this system is going ever work again, but I also don’t think we can get anyone back that would make ANYTHING work in Sullivan’s system.

We are trying to make EK into Rob Scuderi, this team is f***ed.

Buddy if they're gonna play a struggling, near-40 Malkin whose confidence is probably less than zero with DOC and flippin' Colin White... seriously... just trade him.

I know people will disagree with me here, but if you’re the coach you don’t talk shit about Malkin to the media as Sully did. You keep that private and just give some general answers if ever asked about Malkin.

It’s a huge confidence killer and mind f***.

Not the first time. Or the last. As Bob said in La Bamba.

Who cares anyway right? Malkin sucks and is killing this team. Punish him... throw some red meat to the crowd! That's the reasonable solution.

Crosby is literally the only reason to watch the Pens. Unless, of course, you hate the Pens. Then there are lots of reasons to watch.

In all seriousness...it would be by far the best option for both Geno and Pens to trade him ASAP, There has to be a contender out there that would benefit from this washup for $6M its not a big deal, and Pens could get decent return. And it would be good for Geno, he is now circled out and will be the main culprit for whatever bad is coming down the pipe (He is already main culprit for the PP). If we can swing a decent L2C and try to run Vegas stile with 3 identical lines L2-L4, and with some infusion of younger players, it may worked out

Honestly it doesn't much matter, anyway. I'm fine with Raks being bucked down the lineup and GCR at least can put the puck in the net. I'd only make one adjustment were it me and frankly I don't even know how much it would help. So it's kinda whatever.
