So which youngster/rookie was punished today for Letang/Malkin's EN goof? Gotta hold the young guys accountable for sloppy play from the vets!
Puustinen…he played like 5 min for some unknown reason last night lol…

this guy is another one who has looked better in other places, before Sullivan got his claws in him lol…

They go on a little dry spell and they should listen to every and all offers.

Crosby would take an absolute overpay (and I don’t think it happens even then, he deserves to have a say in what happens).

The rest of them…. Don’t really care about.

They lose a couple more games here in the next week or two and they simply have to trade Jake.

I mean, we know the reason. And any of us could have predicted it would happen at some point.

I would have been more shocked if Puustinen kept getting 15+ minutes per night for 20+ straight games. Now *that* would have been absolutely mind blowing.

Chris Johnston on TSN Insider Trading said Dubas is going to continue evaluating up to the deadline, not just the next week or two. Said that the all-star break deadline Dubas initially spoke about isn't a hard deadline.

Acciari does contribute nicely on the PK, one of the few bright spots for the team this year, including 55% face off wins on the PK.

I remember Adams in his last years standing in one spot on the PK, waving his stick and constantly getting beaten to the puck, but he still went out there over and over. I get nauseous just thinking about it.

Pens have played 44 games. Only Ottawa and Edmonton have played fewer (43), and only LA has played 44. Plus, the Pens play just two games between now and February 6.

They'll certainly have the opportunity to make up ground if they can actually seize the moment.

lol. Last year “they’ve got 6 games in hand, this is a shoe in” until it was “we’ve still got 4 games in hand, I’m not worried” then “2 games in hand, they really can’t blow this”

They blew it. Games in hand are worthless when you have a mediocre team.

I’ve seen this fish before.

As long as the Pens don't have to face a juggernaut like Chicago they should be fine.

The old Ron Hextall approach.

As much as I’m here to whine about the Pens, I can’t imagine how bad all the other Metro teams hfboards professional pessimists must feel about their similar mediocrity given we’ve at least got 3 cups with this core.

I've been making this point a little more frequently. The benefit of Adams and Sill was that they were making league minimum, not $2mil.

As I said before, if Dubas even gets a hint of interest, I would send him out. Even if it's for a 7th. Cut bait if you can.

That said, I do think Acciari is capable of more. I think he's underperforming and being underplayed. But with the issues this team has and Eller signed, he's just not a need. The $2mil could be better put elsewhere and the roster spot, at this point, may be more important.

We have been saying the same thing for the last 20 games, and yet when there is an opportunity to leap over, they lose...

So on the shitterverse aka the toxic platform Elon made even worse - f***ing idiots like Yohe, Rossi, and Kingerski are going hard in the paint to blame the players and not Sullivan but then defend the players and Sullivan and lay the blame on Karlsson and Malkin in that instance instead. Lol wtf?

Now Dubas wants to give this team more time?

This team is so f***ed.
