I'm assuming this is a troll but in case it's not...the only thing Sully gotta do is play the hot hand that has been playing the most recent best goalkeep. Which is actually what he's been mostly doing.
Ned is a backup. Every time he's been played as a starter it's failed. His having a good stretch doesn't magically make him an NHL starting goalie.

Sullivan would be fired from any quality franchise for not winning a playoff series for 5 years. Fire him today. Today. Dubas move these players that just are not playing hard enough or send them down for bus rides. Graves just is floating to much. POJ stinks. Stuck with Hextall's nonsense but this off season he has cap space and room to move guys and retool the roster.

I think they'll just plug in Zohorna for now and call up someone to sit in the press box.

But they should call up Poulin.

They also should LTIR him and try to trade for another top six wing…which they’re going to need anyway if the situation stands as it is with Jake…

He's going to be back before the end of the season, though. The cap space is only temporary. You'd need to make a trade to clear space for his return, and the move they should make is trading Smith...which they can't get a good return on until he shows he's healthy.

No one is going to trade for him now unless he’s healthy and playing long before the TDL…if it looks like a 6-8 week injury, just LTIR him through the RS and they can have him for the playoffs, if they make it, which I doubt

He's only serious when he types in ALL CAPS
This team consists entirely of f***ING LOSERS and just little guys beyond reproach, even if you’re a goalie with more losses than wins you’re not a f***ING LOSER because you’re just a little guy!! If you’re not one of the little guys you’re a f***ING LOSER

Kochetkov is in concussion protocol for the Canes, so Raanta is getting the start against us Saturday night…He's 8-5-2 with a 3.27 goals-against average, .862 save percentage…in other words, he sucks but that means he’ll probably post a .978 save % against the Pens lol

Something that has really stood out to me ... the last ten or so games I've caught on Root/FSP/whatever, where they do the hit of the game has been really lame. This team is just cottony soft. Charmin. It's like Ryan Whitney fathered 80% of them.

Not saying that is the reason we haven't won a playoff series in 6 seasons, but it's not helping.

Also, the only player who has scored against the Canes this season for us is Sid…seriously, we scored 2 goals against the Canes in the first meeting, a loss, and both were by Sid and then the last game we won in a shootout, the only goal was from Sid (and the SO goal)…can someone else f**king do something in these games? Or just put Sid in bubble wrap please until tomorrow night…embarrassing

Those hits have been lame for every team and every game I've been to and seen on jumbotons or broadcasts

I don't know why they even do them

They hardly ever pick any real impact ones... If there was a big hit in the game, you can almost guarantee it'll be some soft shove highlighted

It's not a pens isolated thing

That's just a microcosm of the entire season tbh. Exaggerated, obviously, but y'know.

No offense, but.....you're just realizing that now?

It's been that way since Sullivan castrated Reaves and they traded him away.

They should do a study on what Reaves does to people's brains to make them think he's some effective deterrent to cheapshots or an assured nuclear destruction option as opposed to a completely dogshit hockey player who does nothing but talks shit in post game interviews.

(To his credit, he *can't* do anything because of the instigator--which should be eliminated since the league does nothing to protect guys, so they need to be allowed to police the game themselves. But he does nothing.)

I liked Reaves. I don't really buy into the deterrent stuff and he's a mediocre-to-not very good 4th liner, but he was fun to watch. The shit stirring (when not being neutered by Sullivan) and big hits were something that we haven't had for a long time. I mean, I guess like Archibald or something, but Reaves hits are actually noticeable.

But some of the contracts that he's gotten in his career is nuts. Homie is 37 years old and is signed above league minimum for 2 more years after this.

Eight weeks takes you to March 8, which is the trade deadline.

The season ends April 17.

You can't leave a guy on LTIR for an extra six weeks once he's healthy.

He's an abysmal 4th liner though. Arguably the worst forward (or skater) defensively in the league and less offense than ZAR. The only reason he's still playing in the NHL is because dinosaur-brained FO folks ignore that the instigator exists. Dude's 1000% useless.

But yeah, that contract the Leafs handed out is f***ing yikes.
