Retained on Petry, only 1.5mil saved in Karlsson and lost Rutta. I’m not happy

Yay to Ruh full time in the line up. Ffs….
We got Karlsson and dumped all our grabage.

We matched the retention but that's only for 2 years then we're saving more. Didn't have to buyout Granlund. Flipped what hopefully is a late 2nd for an early 3rd and rhe cap goes up next year.

This is crazy good.

What? I am very happy with this trade. I was just hoping Karlsson would come in at a bit cheaper.

I expected them to pay more for more retention.
I was kinda throwing the same stuff back at you that you posted a few days ago to posters complaining.

I know your happy.

Good day

Any news on what happens with the pick IF it is in the top 10? will it slide for a 1st the season after? casue the 2025 1st might be even higher tbh

Not like Granlund was going to score much or drive play but I’m a little concerned for our depth scoring. I don’t really see this bottom 6 scoring much. Maybe 70 goals total out of the 3rd & 4th line?

But they are defensively sound and good on faceoffs and there’s some physicality mixed in so hopefully they can at least put our top 6 into positions to score.

There’s also internal competition so if some guys aren’t producing you can throw Nylander or Hinostrozsa in.

It will make zero difference when Jarry gets concussed in game 3 because we shipped out our only 2 defensemen willing to clear the crease and did not replace one of them with a similar grittiness.

I see where you coming from but Letang/EK for 45-50 mins a night surely will help the bottom 6 scoring too.

Losing Granlund doesn't matter whatsoever with adding Pitlick. Pitlick can provide what Granlund provides at a fifth of the cost. He's a really nice addition and a really good cost-effective replacement for Granlund.

If I'm Dubas, I'm probably trying to sign another forward for $1 million a year or so to help the team with Guentzel out. But beyond that the roster is looking really nice right now.

Pitlick is a Sully player all the way. Great guy to get in all of this

Maybe we can flip Ruhwedel for a different kind of Ruhwedel, like a guy that’s bigger and less likely to get hemmed in on a cycle since they’ll likely be playing with lesser forwards and getting more D-zone starts. More like a Bogosian.

We threw in the towel on the bottom 6 when we signed Eller. Granlund was not going to produce 30 points in a bottom 6 without PP time.
