In my case I'm not at all embarrassed. That would be the case of both games had been mirror images of game 7 vs New York from last year.

Frustrated is another matter. Especially since the same mistake has ended up in the back of the net 3 times and has led to the vast majority of their offensive zone chances even when it hasn't.

This is still winnable if they clean that up, but that needs to be done immediately.

For a team known for their ability to get pucks out (contrary to what our GDTs would let you believe) they sure have been deciding the worst times for that to break down. I'll blame it on fatigue, and the fact they had so many chances that didn't go in. That's the thing. We usually outlast the opponent defensively, and at least pot one or 2 because of the opportunity that presents, but Bob and the Panthers ability to collapse on him is making it next to impossible to get that advantage. They're giving up a ton of shots as the stats indicated they would. It's just not to our favor yet unfortunately.

When do we get more traffic in front, and get our deflection game going....

It's a GDT. Of course their will be stupid takes. That's what a GDT is.
Among the irrational takes, this really explains a lot of what has happened since the Game ended.

Gentlemen, I’d recommend you to cease this discussion.

For the Greater Good and whatnot.

I know I’m a guest, but I consider you folks as some of my favourite HF friends & it pains me to see you fight & be unkind to each other.

However, you’re probably like any other family - you cheer hard , you love hard and you express your feelings passionately.

Hopefully we have a lot to celebrate after game 3.

Love you all,

Sometimes we're the Hatfields and McCoy's under one roof....and as the verse in the great song "The Boys are Back in Town" says...."And if the boys wanna fight, you better let 'em"

I was born in the year 'Nam ended. So if you were there - mad respect. More than we ever faced. But you weren't the one who called me out.

Yeah but you’re the one who randomly brought up 9/11 in a discussion about Matt Tkachuk.

So I think the fact that I stormed the beaches at Normandy should be rubbed in your face.

Oh man. I know I get emotional, but I don’t like seeing us fight like this. Part of what makes this board special is how we can all enjoy a laugh at our own expense.

I’ve gone irrationally ballistic on this team more times that I’m proud of, but I’ve never attacked anyone on this board, and if anyone has ever perceived anything I’ve said as a personal attack, it was never my intention and I’m sorry.

I hope everyone here has good things in life to enjoy on Sunday and then we can get back into the madness on Monday night.

We're all tough guys behind the screen but in reality we're all kind, gentle souls

It's a bad couple of losses, and we all have scar tissue from the previous ECFs. People can have bad takes, I have bad takes. It's a GDT. That's what it is. Lashing out on a message board to real life strangers is a coping mechanism. It shouldn't happen but it's the internet. Making it personal shouldn't happen. I 100% agree, but It's like 2 dogs on a leash...vicious killers until they're free and allowed to sniff butts. Then everyone is cool.

That being said when's the next meet up?
