Budaj was doing that earlier in the season. Like he almost doesn't know exactly where he is in the crease. Sort of off center.
 
Does Fox have to do that? Say "here we go" when Carter even lightly touches the puck. Bob Errey does that with Pittsburgh. Mickey Redmond in Detroit does that. It's annoying. Stop.
 
Why are the Kings not making Florida come 200ft ?

Two times there to get puck deep, and it ends up with Marty taking a penalty.

This is not even Kings hockey, it's just a jumbled mess.
 
Clifford and Andreoff both had a chance to get the puck in deep against the Panthers #1 line, both failed and then we take a penalty.

Unacceptable.

Already pushed down to the bottom six. He looks in over his head. Problem is he's completely ineffective in puck battles. Utterly worthless if the puck goes to the wall.

Kempe has been terrible in puck battles, you can't play in the NHL, waving at pucks.
You have to win some puck battles.

very disappointed in Toffoli this year. maybe DL can convince him into a smaller salary deal

Sutter absolutely hates playing 2 rookies on D, no way he puts 3 out there. Gravel is only sitting because he needs another RHD in there.

It will be another bridge deal.

Toffoli would be smart to not sign anything long term, he has to show the Kings his 30G season was not a fluke.
 
i still think making a move for a cheap backup is STILL worth it

even if Quick comes back in two weeks

those 5-6 games will be worth it

but of course it'll be status quo!
 
Figures our guys start getting healthy and back into form just in time for Budaj to turn back into a pumpkin. NHL worst goaltending means no playoffs for any team. And you can see what happens--how everything falls apart--when guys stop trusting and start trying too hard to make things happen because they have no confidence in what's going on behind them.

as long as the bridge doesn't take him to UFA status
