There was a kings player on Lou's pads. He was pinned in place when the goal happened. No way to move to make a save. Glad they got the goal, but I know me. If it was Quick with a panther on his pads I would be yelling at the tv

Jesus ****. If they actually called that when the Panthers did it too, we'd be on the PP all night!

Chris Lee, ladies and gentlemen.

It would be interesting to know how many posts the Kings have hit this year. It really does seem like a lot.

Pearson has more goals at ES than Kopitar, Brown, and Gaborik combined. That's fun cap space math right there.

ye ole can opener there.

Pearson opened him up like a can opener.

2-2

And here it is.

LaDue needs to stay for the rest of the season. He's going to be a keeper for sure. He's only going to get better.

LaDue got the second assist on Pearson's goal. Seems to be a quick learner. Futa and O'Connell loved his competitiveness and openness to learn, from his Black and White video earlier this week. We need that.

Shore, take note of what Lewis just did when you have the puck. Take it in deep and hold onto it, don't just give it back.

Brown is looking like his old self tonight. Really throwing some huge hits and getting under the Panthers skin

Shore was hit into Luongo though. King on Lundqvist in the Final, there's an argument to be made on that one. Tonight? I think that was pretty cut and dry.

Strong moves at the net by Kopitar. Wish there was more of that. Everyone does.

And another solid PP.

There really aren't many defensemen in the NHL able to stop Kopitar from getting to the net when he makes up his mind to get there.

At least that's the way it used to be.

That was the correct call. It doesn't matter if the goaltender is pinned in place by an opposing player if the player was forced there.

How's Kempe doing?

Invisible, He really isn't ready for the NHL if you ask me.

His game needs more rounding out.

Again, Kempe doesn't posses a gifted scoring touch, to be floating around the ice.

That is not going to work.

Incidental contact is enough to overturn a goal. Not upset that it went our way, just surprised a 50/50 call didn't go against us.

Turned on the game and it was 2-0; I start watching and now it's 2-2.

I'm responsible for all the success.

You wonder where this Brown has been. He's been more there this year. He wasn't great in the 13-14 regular season, but was some sort of presence in the 2014 playoffs. Even if the goals and points aren't always there, if he was playing this way more often over the last couple years, there's less complaining about him for sure. The hit that set up Pearson's goal for the only playoff win last year. If he did that more, it's not worth $6m in cap space, but it's something.

I guess the weight of the C, and all the various issues on the team the last few years just pile up eventually.

And shying away from contact so far.

Man the more I watch that Pearson goal the more impressive it gets. Just posterizes whoever that is...Demers?...and calmly skates into the eye of the hurricane with 4 Florida players converging from every side and two more kings crashing the net.

How's Kempe doing?

Already pushed down to the bottom six. He looks in over his head. Problem is he's completely ineffective in puck battles. Utterly worthless if the puck goes to the wall.

Now that Kopitar is alive Dean should consider making a move. Trade McNabb+ for a his right-handed equivalent. That would allow Muzzin to go back with DD, Forbert/LaDue and Martinez/new guy. That M&M second pair should be avoided at all costs. Assumes of course JQ returns. Not sure where he gets a 3rd line center and pp coach though.
