Do you really consider him only a 66 point forward? That's pretty f***ing dumb.
I was responding to the guy calling MacKinnon not a 100 points forward. FYI Pettersson paced for 66 points last year and is off to a poor start again.

The Avs are stacked at every position (according to Avs fans) and yet so far they share the same record as the lowly Canucks! Wow funny!!
Yea and Buffalo Sabres are going for the cup, it’s 7 games into the year. You really think Vancouver will really be ahead of Colorado at the end of the year? Willing to bet on that?

the great nathan mackinnon scored 63 points as a rookie. then he had 3 subsequent disappointing years. in his fifth season, he broke through.

thus there were 3 years of calling him overrated and a one season wonder.

So that offer is good for a 99 points forward? It might for a 66. It’s funny how apparently Vancouver is full of stars yet their team is dog**** still somehow.

Maybe it’s a good thing they can’t go on a run so they can’t accidentally burn down their city again.

What's really funny is your ability to conveniently forget your 99 point forward and his 2nd 3rd and 4th season where he was nowhere near a 90 point player, is it not possible that EP is progressing, learning and developing the same way, and just because our team as a whole sucks, doesn't mean we should take dogshit offers seriously from pundits like you?

He’s kind of an outlier, what’s another forward with that kind of progression?

Does it make a difference? 74 points isn’t exactly franchise centre number.
You realize Nate Mackinnon 3 years into his career was averaging 57 points per 82 games, yet yall considered him a 1C no? Whose to say pettersson can’t progress past where he is now? Are you from the future?

No one considered MacKinnon a 1C at that point.

Anyways back on topic, the fact is no one is going to give value like he’s a 90 points player currently and if he was performing like one he wouldn’t be getting traded anyways.

muffin's logic: mackinnon wasn't important until his 5th season. if he had been traded for a bag of pucks, it would have been fair value.

muffin is jim benning's burner account? is benning just a double agent? it would explain a lot.

Larkin + Fabbri? I don't know. Detroit has drafted a lot of young swedes now so for some reason it seems like a logical destination.
