And are we sure that he will be claimed? Ned cleared when Detroit just sent him down, and there's no shortage of teams who could use at least a backup goalie.
I'd guess the organization does by their actions. Probably like the idea of him as depth for the playoffs on the right side.
I can't see Vancouver passing on him if he were available. They have nothing to lose by taking him and seeing how he does. If he is bad, they waive him later.

Emotionally no, depth wise…..probably. It’s concerning he’s the first guy to get the nod when someone gets hurt.

To be fair, even as depth he's only marginally better than a pylon on the ice this season

Fair although I'm not sure guys we have down in the A like Lajoie or Lagesson would be any worse as a 7D than he has been. Also I strongly suspect we'll add a 3rd pair D at the deadline making him expendable.

Aren’t those two lefties? I may be remembering them wrong. If they are then it makes sense to hold on to Coglan. I agree with everyone’s assessment of him.

Yeah, he seemed to show a lot of determination in coming back. Reading the pieces on him during the lead up to the comeback and how he was in a dark place at times, my heart breaks for the guy.

Again: the team was undefeated in December without him. Yes, he can't be replaced, but the games don't stop and they're still a playoff team. It sucks, but every team deals with injuries. Someone needs to step up, and that's it.
