Between PK and Hughes they are not only adding a ton of skill and marketability but they are both enthusiastic and energetic which can be contagious. A plus for a locker room that has had leadership from the likes of Greene and Zajac..

I can't wait for Greene to be gone. Not only his age, but he doesn't strike me as a great captain for a stanley cup run.

The biggest thing Subban will do right off the bat is move everyone down 1 spot on the depth chart. That's a pretty big deal.

Someone gets to play 2nd pair rather than 1st pair.
Someone gets to play 3rd pair rather than 2nd pair.
Someone gets to sit in a luxury box as the #7 rather than play 3rd pair.

So it always makes a pretty immediate & observable difference to your defense in the rare occasions when a #1/#2 is added.

i don't think i realized how good of a speaker he really was. it's impressive - even if some of his sentences are "media bs", i'm convinced with everything he says

I dont know about that, he seems like a pretty normal speaking guy to me, but what is impressive is his giving a full 30 minutes to the media, as well as the fact he didnt waffle the guy at the 8:00 mark who could have asked that question much nicer. I couldnt figure out who that reporter was, but he sounded like a real dees-dems-and-dose jerk.

I was thinking that before like say we won the cup I can’t envision Gary handing the cup over to Andy Greene.

Man i was literally going to post happy subban day yesterday in the morning but didn’t want to jinx. After that shoutout to the devils in the nba pre game I had a feeling he was coming here.

This move shows that rays plan is to win now and go all in with hall and company. They still have 25 million in cap space. Obviously the chips are on the table and now I’m more pumped for the season.

$180 for section 11, row 11 on StubHub right now.

Rough, but I imagine it will get worse until at least game day.
It will be better. 48-72 hrs before will still be the best time to grab tickets.

At least it's not like Chicago where you are paying 80 a ticket for standing room only, if they're playing a half decent team.

While PK had his injury problems which resulted in a fairly poor regular season. But, checking over the Preds board, they say he was their best D man in the playoffs.

Wonder if he took it easy when recovering from the injury to ensure he was good for the playoffs?

I think they'll drop, official channels aren't open yet (at least it doesn't like like it when I search) so once individual game tickets go on sale supply should go way up.
Obviously I hope you guys are right. But I think our base is as fired up as I've seen it in quite some time.
