Between PK and Hughes they are not only adding a ton of skill and marketability but they are both enthusiastic and energetic which can be contagious. A plus for a locker room that has had leadership from the likes of Greene and Zajac..

Davies to me has value but between him and Walsh, I'd rather Walsh. I'm glad we flipped Davies though, kids gonna be a player.
I like Walsh too, but every one of his highlights is him just bombing one from the point. It's great that he has a plus skill like that, but Davies is definitely the more well-rounded player.

I don’t see him in their echelon yet but I still think fans are sleeping on the Ty Smith impact. Adding this kid and Subban to our defense will be HUGE

People acting like Subban is cooked is wild. Yeah he’s not a top 5 dman right now but considering he was a Norris finalist 2 years ago and had a injury last year you’d think he’s Wade ****ing Redden.

I dont know what "cooked" means, but after returning from injury last season, he was definitely not the P.K. Subban people are used to. Have to hope the last few months were merely an anomaly.

simply having subban on the roster is going to make me a lot more confident in a playoff series

I expect him to be better than last year just by getting more minutes and having a more pronounced role on the team.

man...i get disappointed when another team makes a move i wanted the devils to make, but articles like these are an incredible reminder that SO MANY things have to go right for a trade to actually go down. GM’s, owners, players. and not just from the two teams involved, but all the others competing- the article said 4-5 teams were in the mix for subban...so you have to multiply those SO MANY things by 4-5 and your odds of making a deal plummet even further.

framed in that context, the hall and subban trades were absolutely incredible

It shows the human element that often is not taken into account.
